Ackshully.... she did one feature length film before she was married to Cameron. Near Dark (1987). She did one film prior to Near Dark (the Loveless) but she co-directed it with the screenwriter.

Cameron actually co-wrote Point Break with her.

Excluding Near Dark, all but one of her films were during or after her marriage to Cameron.

You know, I'm not really sold on the actual movie any more than I was before, but that Sagan speech (shortened though it was) gives me fucking goosebumps every single fucking time. Same with the Pale Blue Dot. The man knew how to make us feel humble.
