I'm glad that others have noticed he's gone off the deep end of creating fantasy worlds into promoting woke faggotry. I didn't think Mormons were into that shit but I'm not going to read any of his new works. I couldn't even get into Book 4 much less waste much more time on 5. I'm glad Barnes just lets you read in store. Not wasting any further time or money on this faggot. So glad that Erikson is back to writing.

Also expect no white people in this. He’s already said that he based characters off of mostly Asian types, with pretty much everyone having epicanthic folds. They’ll ignore the shit like blonde hair (or red hair, Shallan will be black for sure) and blue eyes and focus on that entirely.

My opinion hasn't changed with time: It's better than Rhythm of War, but that's not saying much.
It's waaaay too long, with Adolin's chapters being basically the only high point.
The ending does shake up the world in some very real ways. Some specifics are very unclear, however, and will probably be revised before he swings back to this anyway - the plan was he would finish off Mistborn and Elantris before we get book six (aside from maybe the Rock novella to tide us over), and who knows how any Hollywood adaptations will impact that timeline.
So if you're invested and have nothing else at the top of your list, then sure, but there's no rush, as book six is probably 5 - 10 years off. The one exception being if you are a Mistborn / greater Cosmere fan, as post-Wind characters already showed up / were referenced in Isles of the Emberdark, and that trend will continue.

I have read the first 4 books including Edgedancer and Dawnshard. I have also read the Mistborn trillogy ,Wax and Wayne books and Elantris.
Wind and Truth and Warbreaker are on my shelf waiting

If you're a completionist, you might as well read them. I enjoyed warbreaker. Wind and truth wasn't the slog for me that oath breaker was, although it was a big long for me and did drag in places.

Completionist or not, I would (again, for this thread) recommend his short(er) story material. vGrade mentions Edgedancer, but most of the rest of Arcanum Unbounded is worth your time, Tress of the Emerald Sea and to a lesser extent Yumi and the Nightmare Painter are charming, albeit aimed more at female readers, and The Sunlit Man is the lean action movie we wished the later Stormlight books were. I wasn't as big on Isles of the Emberdark, but it does emphasize just how connected the books are getting (e.g. Scandrian fighter ships employ technology from the Mistborn, Stormlight, and Tress planets).
Warning: occasional pockets of Girl Power are a hazard, but haven't ruined any works yet.
