Oh, I thought we just got 9 for some reason. Ok, that makes sense. That should explain what happens to Bix then. I am guessing the one year jump will involve his search. Will be interesting to see how the 1 year jump plays with the Android.

Another thing I hope they explore is what seemed to be an implication of him having" The force" within him. That explaining his "Luck" and piloting skills, as it seems. Maybe we get a Jedi making an appearance in the last 3 episodes.

I wouldn't be surprised if Luthen has Bix killed to be the final motivation needed for Andor to do his part.

That would be the evolution of what she did. She leaves to get Andor back into the fight, but all it does is make Andor want to find her. The next logical step would be to find a way to frame her death to be caused by the Empire. It could even be accidental as long as the Empire was the main reason.

This could then give rise to the relationship Andor has later.

She was to be hidden(Identity). This would have put her in harms way. I will let AI handle the rest of the answer...

Princess Leia was raised by Senator Bail Organa and his wife, Breha, after being adopted shortly after birth. She was raised as the heir to the Alderaanian monarchy and instilled with the pacifistic values of her adopted planet. She was raised in relative luxury and privilege as the daughter of a respected senator and the princess of a powerful planet

IIRC, for Leia, Rogue One Bail assigned her the job of getting the evidence of the Death Star to the Senate, in the hopes it would get more systems to break away.

But then Rogue One had the Death Star blow up shit (but not the entire planet) on both Scarif and Jedha, so its preposterous there wasn't footage available for anyone who wanted it at that point. Then again, Bail not having been arrested as an obvious Rebel sympathizer (especially given that he's the one that let Mon Mothma speak) frankly never made any sense - maybe we'll get the ISB feeding him misinformation / planting spies on Yavin through him next week.

As far as Bix - I dunno. Andor stopped looking for his sister after his "mom" told him to drop it in S1, so for him to just get right back to that with Bix doesn't read as a ton of character growth (nor does the Rebellion giving him the most critical jobs in Rogue One and such make sense if he's zipping off on his own endlessly). My trope radar continues to go off, so maybe Bix's cell is presumed dead, but she's one of the few to get a happy ending revealing she's alive with Andor's kid (named after either his sister's name or whatever "Hope" is in Kenari(?) - take your pick.)

I'll say it again , if you had been in the movie theater with me when this came out you would have heard me shout 'HELL YES' when the red saber came on. Damn that was a good scene.

Also agree this was pretty good 3 ep arc.

I'm betting on an arc of Andor trying to track down Bix and it ending with Bix dead.
Not a chance. The tragedy is that Bix says she'll find Cassian after it's all over and they'll do the things they didn't get to do. they didn't have her say that for nothing. If she dies it completely ruins it. Her still being out there makes the end of Rogue One all the more sad

The actress who plays her said as part of the back story of her character, she was told the red around her eyes isn't eyeshadow, but just the way all people of her species look. Wouldn't make sense for Leia

as a huge fan of WW2/cold war spy movies and show this shit is like crack cocaine. I totally get why some people aren't gonna like the show at all, its not an action show its a underground resistance spy show with a Star Wars skin but goddamn I fucking love the move, counter-move, counter-counter-move setups that sometimes will take months or years to payoff and the stakes are always life or death. I am literally taking my time with the show, sometimes waiting 2-3 days between episodes so I can stretch it out. It'll be sad finishing the show next week.

If you watched Rebels, season 3 episode 18 is the episode where Mon Mothma escapes with Phoenix Squadron from Coruscant, I watched it immediately after watching episode 9 and it was a nice bridge. Thrawn is in the episode a little bit too, he probably won't be in Andor lol

RIP Syril, i honestly expected him to last the show and Bix to die. I'm 80% sure now Deedra is gonna be on the death star in the final episode.

i think i'll be going on a massive cold war spy binge after this wraps up - Black Doves, Deutschland 83, Ipcress Files, Kleo, Jack Ryan, and Foyle's Wars are ones I've lined up to see. I would watch The Americans but its a LOT of episodes and i've already seen it once and its kinda slow.

Yea the last 3 are masterpiece episodes. However I really dislike all the modernisms that keep popping up.

News reporters (like how our news is). Rave dances. Some of the small mannerisms of the supporting actors (none of the main ones). It's really nit picky and can easily dismiss it but it kept coming up in my head as I was watching. Like it's not that those things are in the show, but how they get portrayed like it's just lazy fucking unimaginative mediocrity.

I genuinely don't know how I feel about this.

Society, culture, language, and mannerisms on 'real' Earth are significantly different than what they were just 200 years ago. It's likely that such elements would be completely unrecognizable if their source was light years away and hundreds of years in the future.

My point is this -- there have been shows/movies that have tried to represent alien culture as really alien and I really can't remember a time where it didn't come off as goofy, half-baked, weird, or just lame. I lean towards the thinking that as much as some things change, some things remain relatively the same and it helps keep the show grounded and isn't too far from a familiar reality. It allows the audience to focus on the story and not spend a lot of time trying to figure out the technical details.

All that said, I will say that as a 'normie' Star Wars fan that has only watched the movies, I've always been bothered by the fact that all the advanced technology seems to be packaged in 1960s/70s hardware. Can any of you super fans explain this?

I forgot to post why I had originally come to the thread.

S2 of Andor is some of the best SW content that has been filmed in the last 20 years. Probably longer.

It has its issues, but it's very, very good.
