The real screw up as Trion always does is they didn't know allowing people to pre make a character with patron would generate labor. People logged in with 5k labor and could start fishing nearly immediately.

Locking land behind 48 hours is also stupid. Now you're rewarding people who can click fast instead of people who take their time to plan out and practice their early game quest route.

I heard that land is still aviable. It was not that cluttered. Only the real good spots were contested like Kraken Island.

There's another example of how nonsensical are the relations between Trion (Archeage NA / EU publisher) and XL Games (Archeage korean developer) ; asian people complained about griefing / harassment regarding their input during trials, XL Games decided to make trial jury people anonymous. It's not only a bad move directly impeding community building, it's also a "kids are loose" free ticket for anyone around. Trials are for people breaking the "rules" (PK, steal, etc), why would you give anyone a free ride at them over giving them a 20-70 mins prison sentence ?

This server seems pretty dead to me, theres people around but as far as plots are concerned, there's hardly anyone placing houses/farms etc.

Maybe even less than 1k people on West and the general consensus is west outnumbers east... So.

Not sure how it could be dead with queues mid-day non prime.

Housing is packed tight in Cinderstone. Just so many more places to put houses now.

We had even more places to put housing on the last fresh start and every inch of the server was taken besides solo 8x8s in random zones. This server has enough room for multiple mansions in every housing zone.

Jury was one of the funniest parts of Archeage

Killing people, stealing their shit and see them going mad about it is probably the funniest thing ever in a sandbox MMO, besides politics drama. Especially when nowadays a lot of people playing MMOs like they're in a solo game. If you're alone running stealable valuables on your back, of course you're gonna get mugged.

But, oh boy. The time I spend in prison. The new system is brutal.
