Anyways, I'm sure PRX is going to crush any possible opposition on the server they play on again just like in GW2.
Is the long term plan for you guys to hop from server to server again to find fights?
Thinking about it that actually might be the most interesting part. A reroll 2-3 months down the road against established guilds with castles; because I'm sure the initial opening of the North wont present you with too much of a challenge.

Reading this was like watching some random Youtube video about a hamster getting 50 carrots into his jowls as fast as he could, only here carrots are dicks and you are the rodent.
Tuco probably posted that while he was finishing up some code with his left hand, while holding a beer in his right at the same time he was up on one leg knocking out a piece of ass.
AA will be a different beast than GW2. Far less regimented and there isn't a real score sheet you could just pull up to check your progress. Dominating a map or two is one thing, trying to dominate an entire world isn't very likely although I have no doubt our impact will be felt and the asses of our enemies will be sore.

Thanks. The two week notice gave me not much time to do a lot of work to get ready. I'm really just interested in getting everyone together to have some fun.

I agree, nobody knew that Archeage was even a game until last night. It hasn't been in beta for about a year or anything. Who knew that it was even going to go live. It was Saturday morning, the wife probably made you an appletini last night and you were still hung over. I get it!

The catch, I'm sure, is that the cash shop is near 100% needed or theres huge, giant bonuses for a sub that makes you inferior without one.

seriously though, its the same as any other f2p game. If you dont spend money, youll have a harder time doing things. Youll earn less gold, have a harder time making crafted gear which in a RNG crafting system can make life miserable. Even worse due to the fact auroria gear no longer drops.

I tend to ignore MMO releases until a month before the release date, because I don't want to burn out on them.
So what do you lack when you play for free? I know land and farming ability, but anything else?

Can't post items on the AH, but you can pay a bit of cash for the ability to do so without having Patron status. And, unless it changes for release, less LP regen while online, none while offline.
Also, while you can't own land, you can still farm. Either on farms owned by others that are set to guild/family/open or secret (unprotected) farms.
