This is some Bernie Madoff shit. Listing loans as revenues & then skimming off the top, assuming everything that investor said was true.

The question is was this a scheme from the beginning with no intent of ever delivering a game? Or was he hoping to just 'fake it til you make it' and actually thought it would pay off in the end? Crazy.

I have to suspect it was the later, at least at first, then he probably started to panic towards the end
