Aha! I'd missed it - the code on the inside of the case, always look for inserts with codes... they were sneaky with this one... thanks for the assist on that, never saw it, since I left the PS4 one inside the case it was blocking it out. (no sense in running the PS4 code until my PS4 is here, after all)

got bored with avelines story, mainly cuz playing her feels like playing a nerf'd char, i mean my guy is fully upgraded, and now i gotta play this super downgraded assassin?
i don't think we'll ever get ninjas/samurai's or anything asian themed imo, it doesn't see like the desmond bloodline (subject 17) ever went past 1 injun girl and the rest were whitebread. unless they focus on a different bloodline, specfically they focus on the asian girl assassin that invented the rope dart. (she was in the cgi movie with ezio)
or focus on the black guy master assassin that trained the indian, fck he had character, they just really fucked up with the indian.
or focus on haythem next and call it assassins creed:the templar order, fuck anything

Enjoying it so far, but oh boy is the PC performance a mixed bag, it's really all over the place. Just got the Cove and upgraded it with some stores etc. mostly convenience things so far. Is there a way to get a steady income? I'm always low on cash/metal, do I get some npc controlled pirate fleets later on?
I made most of my cash from Sugar/Rum. Every time I saw a ship with semi to large numbers of either of them I made a B line for it. Cloth is also something i sold a lot of because its most real use is for appearance of the Ship and not much else.
Thinking about pre-purchasing on steam now, any thoughts on the contents of the digital deluxe version vs. normal? Cosmetic and multiplayer-shit for the most part?

I eventually restarted the system and it worked fine. It wasn't PSN though, I was connected the whole time.
This game is ridiculously addicting. I have been enjoying this one more then any of the other AC games. The atmosphere is amazing, the sailing is fun, the ship battles are awesome. I enjoy the dual pistols as well. You can cheese a lot of fights with them, but one of my favorite parts about AC was being a unstoppable bad ass that could take 20 guards at once if I had too.
Anyway this one is soooooo much better than AC3. I'm going to end up putting some extreme hours into this just reliving my old "Pirates Gold" days with Sid's masterpiece.

I heard the PC version went on sale in some locations. Does anyone have it? How is the performance if so? Same, better, or worse than Assassin's Creed III?
I have this game on PS4 thanks to the buy 2 get 1 free promotion Amazon was doing, but the sub-1080p (until the patch lands) and 30fps kind of makes me want to get it on PC. I have a i5 2500k @ 3.8ghz, 16GB DDR3 1600mhz RAM, and a Radeon 7970 3GB GPU. ACIII ran pretty damn well maxed out with this set up, probably around 40-60fps in most situations, but I'm wondering if ACIV is more demanding or not.
