Sounds like not in the new PC version thoughyou just spend way too much time in canada in rogue and its even more boring in game than in real life
whereas you get to hang out with hookers and pirates in the Caribbean in black flag
Yes but my counter to that is the story. So great to see the Assassins collapse due to hubris by causing the EQ in Portugal.you just spend way too much time in canada in rogue and its even more boring in game than in real life
whereas you get to hang out with hookers and pirates in the Caribbean in black flag
Have I bought DLC? No. Do you want to buy DLC? No. Do you want to buy DLC? NO!!! Menus are a cash grab for Assassins Creed Shadows... "Launch Shadows to see stats for item"... SERIOUSLY???
The game contains quite a lot of bugs.
- Fail to render NPCS.
- Cannot load into cut scenes so press ESC to menu then back.
- Some times jumping from building to building or running to fast the game freezes to load in. (Might be my PC specs but doubt) so possible Rendering terrain problems.
I haven't found many more bugs than that but I hope they do a huge debugging.
I could be playable but not right now.
This game is a broken mess. Textures don't always load, character don't spawn which then make the game unplayable. Pressing prompts don't always work. Terrible way to remake an amazing game.
Bought the Deluxe Edition for £59.99 to have £76 of extra DLC advertised to me at launch. No thanks.
Remaster looks beautiful, but the audio has been heavily compressed so there's no dynamic range, everything is one harsh volume level. As a result, every character sounds like they're on a podcast. After recently replaying the original game, its unbearable to listen to.
Refund requested. Play the original instead until this goes on sale.
I really wanted to like this. Black Flag is one of my favourite Assassin’s Creed games, so I definitely went into this with a lot of nostalgia. And to be fair, the game looks beautiful. The ocean, lighting and atmosphere are all genuinely impressive, maybe even a little too polished at times.
But after playing for a bit, I started asking myself what I actually paid for. The price is already hard to justify, and then you get DLC, microtransactions, editions and all the usual modern Ubisoft stuff on top of it. Add Denuvo to a single-player game as well, and it just leaves a bad taste. I bought this because I wanted to enjoy Black Flag again, not because I wanted to be reminded of everything people dislike about Ubisoft in 2026.
Maybe I was blinded by nostalgia, because "Black Flag but prettier" sounded like an easy win. But for this price, I just can’t justify keeping it, especially when the original game still exists.
There is still a great game underneath because Black Flag was already great. But as a full-price launch package, this feels way too greedy.
Refunding it, sadly.
Maybe worth it later on a big sale, but not right now.
Well, as soon as the game became available, I was excited - until I saw the pile of DLCs. At first I thought, “Okay, it’s probably just cosmetics, whatever.” But after looking more carefully at each DLC, you realize that some of it is actually small pieces of gameplay: exactly the kind of rare items or mechanics you used to hunt for back when the game first came out.
I’ve honestly never had such a strong urge to refund a game and pirate it instead. Ubisoft really outdid themselves here. With a move like this, I feel like a lot of people are going to do exactly what I’m tempted to do right now.
So my question is: what the hell is the point of forcing people to connect a separate Ubisoft account to a game they already bought on Steam, when you can’t even make your own launcher, registration system, or login process work properly? Why is this done so badly that people can’t even simply start the game they paid for? You’re not just making the experience worse - you’re making even the most basic act of launching the game unnecessarily complicated.
Unable to start the game due to Ubisoft Connect. Also $80 worth of cosmetics already not included in premium edition.
just $85 worth of gameplay-affecting DLC on day 1, neat

just play the original again you retardI enjoyed the fuck out of Black Flag the first go around, so I was eyeing this like a junky two days out of rehab staring at a crack pipe.
I know I shouldn't because fuck Ubisoft, but I do love me some pirates.
However I recently played quite a bit of Windrose which curbs the urge. Kind of like methadone.

But this one is resynced.just play the original again you retard

I guess you haven't seen Anne Bonny yet.It does look REALLY good graphically.
Covered up her tits, redesigned her face to make her fugly, and too incompetent to properly animate her new face so when she's talking her face looks completely fucked up.
