Why? She is the only living asgardian character we know. And Thor is leaving to have awesome times with the AGOG. It was a perfectly fine hand off to allow her a story if they want to use the character in future earth based stories. As far as Thor is concerned he is gong to be in cosmic shit only from now on. And my guess is he dies in the next guardians as a way of making warlock look badass.

This is the shit that makes fair criticism of the SJW shit get drowned out by incel comments. Of all the SJW shit in the series this is legit the only thing that IsNt that and actually makes sense.

he DID hear people talk about it. he said so in the video, he just didn't care at all about the conversation and tuned out. honestly it's not that unbelievable. one of my best friends hadn't paid any attention to the MCU until i dragged her to civil war with me. she had no desire to see it, but i was going through a divorce and she felt bad about me going alone. the ONLY reason she's seen any of them is because of me, i'm the only nerd in her circle. there's an entire world out there of people who don't actually care about super heroes.

kidding aside, she was mostly confused why good guys were fighting each other. but she enjoyed it enough that we've seen all the rest of the MCU together, well except endgame because i moved across the country.

End Game hits #2 worldwide spot after 12 days, its a big question whether it can do another $800m worldwide though

Valkyrie isn't a goddess, she is literally... a valkyrie. A group of maidens serving under Odin who would escort those who died in battle and worthy to Valhalla. Just like every other Asguardian she lives longer than humans but isn't immortal. Yes, Captain Marvel is a monstrosity because of her intro, her powers, the way she dips in and out randomly, that stupid "WOMYN ASSEMBLE" moment, her Dyke haircut, etc. Saying the same thing about Valkyrie just means you are kind of a retard, she's a well developed character since Thor 3 who has a solid backstory, has a power level we can understand, and is pretty consistent with her motivations and actions.

I think the casting and portrayal of him was fine. I'm sure a few of our resident derps will claim his casting is part of the big SJW conspiracy though.

So because they named their devils as dark/black it somehow makes the gods/beings which are the object of their praise also black? That doesn't really hold true for any other religion, which often transpose foreign or "othering" colors onto negative aspects. Also Sami, the Western plains people were white. Eastern plains people, Mongolians, did have more east asian features, but they are also light skin (At their darkest they are "brown", but certainly not "dark"). But I digress. I fail to see how your evidence that the Vikings were employed in Byzatine 1200 years AFTER the Germanic religions begin to develop their specific myths has any bearing on myths that existed for more than a millennia before those migrations.

And it annoys the fuck out of me I have to point this shit out because I think adopting and changing other cultures to tell stories to your own culture is one of the best ways to expand story telling. If I saw Africans retelling various Western stories with black people, and black motiffs--I'd be flattered. Because it shows the story is good enough to connect on a human level. Skin color shouldn't matter, at all. But this is the world we live in, where people apologize for this shit all the time now. Its absolutely hypocritical to turn around and say people being annoyed at this shit only working in one direction is wrong.

That's the irony here. Before the SJW title wave, I'm sure none of us would give a shit about any of these characters. Stringer Bell as Heimdall? Fuck yes son.
