Yeah it's pretty lame, I preferred the theory that he was afraid because Thanos kicked his ass.
That being said, the Hulk did experience life during his 2 years on Sakaar which wasn't just fight fight fight, so in a way it might make sense. I'm not sure where they'll go with this though.

Fuck this explanation. I am gonna retcon this in my own memory of the movies as: Hulk was not just scared, but confused as shit how something could beat him so badly. Its still out of character for the Hulk but not nearly as bad.

Just saw it and loved it. I can nitpick some stuff obviously but I really enjoyed myself.
I wish they hadn't telegraphed the snap his fingers thing so much. I would say perfect amount of humor too. I didn't think it had too much.
Hulk... would have liked to see him more but whatever.
As always the power level thing is a problem I just have to accept and overlook I guess. Black Widow should be crushed every other fight but is shown going toe to toe with people giving Vision trouble.
Again overall loved it though. Well done.

This bothered me too on my first viewing, but on my second viewing it made more sense... Black Widow just had a good strategy. Someone in this thread explained that the Black Order member who attacked vision has a magic dagger that can stab through anything. They barely mention it in the film, closest thing is Vision mentioning that it shouldn't have been possible for a weapon to damage him like that. ANYWAY what Black Widow did was surprise the Black Order guy and steal his weapon, and then use his own weapon against him.
So they didn't really do a good enough job explaining/showing it, but it does make more sense after all than some of the other power level arguments.
Black Widow's strength has always been her strategic abilities.

Not gonna happen w/ the crazy China opening weekend, it had a higher opening weekend than BP, and BP stopped at 100m cuz week2 Chinese ppl were like, "wtf too many black ppl, fuck this"
