Tried tuning in as I used to watch with my kids around 2012-2016 and always let them pick out a shirt from their sponsors. Thought maybe could watch some with my grandson and Jesus Christ i knew it had gotten bad but this is just embarrassing. They are playing Wolfenstein 2 and won't shut up about fighting fascism every 2 seconds and seem to be actually sincere thinking they are doing something by playing the second worst Wolfenstein game made. Going to work on improving his rummicube and gin game instead.

Over the last decade GDQ has gone from my favorite to least favorite thing to watch on twitch. Aside from all the trans weirdo shit, the genders (lol), and how cringe it is - what really kills it for me is how corporate it all feels now. Somewhere along the way the event lost its charm.
Also if I watch with my kids I don't want to have to explain fascism and trans rights to them (which they repeat ad nauseum)... I just wanna watch games. I wanna watch PJ rip some NES games.
