This is the John Wick spinoff, originally slated for 2023 and pushed back to 2024. Same writer as John Wick 3 and 4, we'll see if the Underworld director can show off Ana de Armas' assets as well as he did Kate Beckinsale's.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but they at least pay lip service to it, saying she'll always be weaker, always smaller, etc. She'll have to cheat if she wants to win. At least in the trailer it sort of looked like she was doing that. When she was hanging on the guys arm she didn't do shit until she snapped it, or maybe it cut on the glass? Not sure and didn't rewatch. Yeah, she "Black Widow" threw the guy, but that was after kicking him in the balls I believe. So who knows, but at least they mentioned that she shouldn't be kicking every dude's ass, which is far more than we get in any other girl boss movie.

3 months of reshoots is a new movie. i'll just wait for streaming on this one I think, nothing worse than going to theaters for a franchise you like and being pretty disappointed (furiosa, thor 4)

this also has delayed filming for the HIghlander reboot starring Henry Cavill, who took on the lead role in Voltron to be busy in the downtime

This is the same thought I had. "At least they addressed it". Pretty much no movie does. So I'm willing to give it a watch when it comes out on Prime or whatnot.

The weirdest part is that John Wick 4 introduced multiple characters who would have been great in spinoff movies. Caine, Mr. Nobody, the Samurai's daughter, hell maybe even the chick he visits in Germany who leads her own assassin sect. No idea why they had to introduce an entirely new character when they had so many interesting options already.

Such a cool universe for them to shit on. Nobody wants girl boss dogshit. Make some movies about the high table, the continentals, hell any of the families….but nah let’s girl boss gayness the greatest action franchise in ages.
