7 YUUUUGE maps, which they will probably break up into smaller ones depending on game mode like they have in the past. Think abou it, first BF game to have 64 vs 64. Im hyped.

lol Did I need to mention every single title to get the point across. What I'm saying is if battlefield is going the Warzone/ Fortnite route then they pretty much gave up on realism and the franchise will continue to make games like Hardline, battlefield 2142. battlefield 2042 and so on. (hardline just sucked) If gamers like you want this then yeah you will be happy with it but I hate future warfare. BF4 was modern not future. Would I rather have a game they make look more like bf4 yeah but whats the point in making the same game? All im saying is they could pick any other timeline than future warfare.
COD had good titles too then after black ops 2 they went future and went to shit. This will be the downfall of battlefield trust me.

Its not really that future? I mean, do you want a Chechen re-enactment for a game? I wouldn't mind it, but a lot of that is extremely limited to what they can do with the IP.. otherwise you run into the bullshit problem of them trying to "re-write" WWII information by introducing bullshit characters, cosmetics, and gun setups that just don't make a whole lot of sense. Their downfall was BF1 into BF5, its only redemption or fail at this point, and they're trying to go for redemption; easily could still fail if the game play is garbage.. Regarding BF1 and BF5, a lot of the problem, in my opinion.. is the guns all feel so same-same but thats more or less the fault of the era too. Even in 1942, the expansion they released, idr the name.. but they tried to freshen it by adding "experimental weaponry" and it was hot garbage.
They're using guns that look like the MCX and the AK12 in the trailer.. same reason something like the KRISS Vector could show up.. it's guns that exist with the basic tag of "advanced systems" on essentially old architecture. It gives them a lot of room to apply what is actually going on in the weaponry world, and apply it to the game.. rather than a history homework and then re-writing it.. so that it can be "fun" and "immersive"
Also don't understand the warzone, because MW takes place in 2019 and blackops takes place in 1980s? but I guess, if at the end of the day.. your whole objective is to shoot some dunekoons for the sake of america.. I don't think that will sell very well haha.

Hell just by making it 2042 instead of 2020 or 2010 or whatever they can now even make up guns that still fit the timeline and are not too crazy, whatever the fuck they dream of. New calibers, old calibers made better, whatever their imaginations of what weapon systems in 2042 will be.
And I agree, the thing that sucked the most about bf1 and bf5 WAS the fucking weapons. I didnt play BF1 too long because I thought it sucked, but I played BF5 for 100-200 hours and while they held true for the most par to history, regarding guns, it sure didnt make the game fun.
I mean just look at the calibers available to chose from based on weapons WE can by right now. 5.56/6.5/.308/6.8/.243 win/5.56x54/5.45x39/300 blackout /.270/50cal etc etc.... And thats jsut for rifles/Auto rifles let alone the choices they have for SMG etc...

Im sure the old consoles have a lot to do with limitations. BTW is this game coming out on PS4 and XBOXone? Or is it just new ones?

From the JackFrags video he said you can call in vehicles on your location using a tablet.
I'm very skeptical with the introduction of heroes with specialized weapons and kit and the tablet shit. We will see how it goes, but this might end up being a clusterfuck.
