Maybe try a new email and setup a new account and then ask admin in that thread to set you up on your old misc username. He will send you a link in your CP. Then, you need to use another email to takeover your old username once he sends you the link. You can't use the same email for both accounts.
Also, when you sign up for a new account, you can also put in the request for your old username. See link below. But it also doesn't hurt to ask him to takeover your old username in this thread as well:

Yeah check out the sticky on how to recover. It may take a few days because he’s got a bunch of stuff to manage at the moment. It helps if you can post any king of proof.

I think he’s Bizee. The guy making the rep power leader board, post count leader board, compiling the active miscers each month, your top threads of all time, etc. he also awared us of a work around when bb.com was shitting itself.
