I would say the last season was the end of this show. The current season is starting to stink like woke garbage of the socioeconomic variety.

Really? I dislike Scooter and Wags doesnt seem the same. I dont think I like anything about this show other than that one brunette that works for the tranny. Every other character seems to suck and to be different.

He stepped away from it all since his wife died. He was barely in the last season.
Loss of Damian Lewis such a terrible blow to this show. Now its just this typical alphabet soup formula like everything these days. So this season every time the characters speak in verse (you know those little non-sensical / non-stop blathering references added to every spoken sentence in this show) I want to throat punch each and every one of them.

Halfway through season 3 (in the middle of ep 6 as I type this, as Wendy's short is exposed and Bobby considering a plea as Connerty finally gets to unload on the Rhoades family), this show stresses me the fuck out. The way it gets me to root for Bobby for periods of time, and Chuck constantly giving you reasons to stop rooting for who is supposed to be the good guy.
The balance of the cast is amazing with almost no exceptions, what a great fucking show. Only been spoiled on a couple things from future season so far (I know Lewis is gone and the Rhoades are divorced at some point) but looking forward to the next few seasons, even if they take a turn like West Wing did in it's waning seasons, they've earned as much so far.
Went from not liking Damian Lewis, and now I'm looking forward to watching Homefront when I'm done because of him.

3 episodes into season 6, and yeah, can feel it really turning.
With Chuck in many respects representing his dad's money more than the law it seems at this point I feel like it'd be better if he was gone too and the people from his office just doing cameos occasionally or something when needed for the story. Pivot the show to just power brokers vs each other or something.
They've done a good job of making me like Prince, and I've enjoyed the awkwardness among the staff dealing with the transition, but this war over the Olympics so far is not appealing at all.

You'll only need the first 3 seasons to see all of Damien Lewis' part of Homeland. That said, I did enjoy the series beyond his seasons.
