I thought this show was great before, but shit just got reeeeeeaaaaaaaal.

I hope this show doesn't go the same route as most Showtime shows and they keep it around 2-4 more seasons than they should. Showtime always fucks that up.

I thought letting us see the booty was generous enough...dat ass. Her tits are probably no better than Axe's wifes.

But yea last 2 episodes were great. I just worry they are starting to approach overload territory with all the side characters and different plot points. They should be able to corral it all though as Axe and Chuck are the focal point and as long as they get the screen time they need everything else should work itself out.

Something fucked up is going to happen to Axe by the end of this season, which drives season 2.

And no I doubt he took photos. Thats too shallow for him in that situation. That only happened the way it did so he could confirm she wasnt wired.

That is the same hot tub area as John Wick.

Yup - I think so too. When Axe was talking with that one secret guy, the guy brought up video and pictures to potentially frame a picture of her cheating to stir up the investigation. Axe said "i'll let you know" and then next thing you know, the secret guy is escorting the wife to a friggin naked hot spa.

Axe may not have had photos taken, but that secret guy did. He will bring it up if things get more screwed for Axelrod. Wendy is also going to be pissed once she finds out she's been lied to by Chuck. This show is too damn good. I wish it was Netflix so I could binge watch.

And you know Axe's ultimate trump card is going to be some kind of blackmail using Chuck's kinky fetish shit with his wife.

Not sure how that could be used against him though. It's with his wife. And he's not even involved in the case. Officially.

Even if it is with his wife it is outside the realm of normal enough to ruin any political career.

The only possible conclusion to this show is Axe and Chuck burning each other to the ground.

Maybe hall did take a few pics but Axe trusts Wendy. Even after Hall told him not to, and basically suggested he take advantage of her he didnt. So there is no reason to believe he leverages Wendy unless he finds out she betrayed him in any way (which she kind of did with the 250k).

I see Chuck losing out big time one way or another. He just seems too cocky for his own good. He also projects a false sense of resolve which will also probably come back to haunt him (w his marriage at the very least). Axe kind of in same boat so its heavy losses for both sides. I can totally see Chuck in a dark place after being divorced, basically mid life crisis type shit where he is constantly losing control and finding himself in shady situations.

Last Sunday no new episode, next week picks it back up I believe.

No Think they are on a 2 week break. Mar 6 for next one.

why the fuck do they take time off its not like they are filming the show the week of

That's the one worry I have with this show. It's essentially one big game of cat-and-mouse, which can only go on so long before Chuck starts to look completely incompetent at his job or Axe starts to look supernaturally untouchable. Hopefully they have some sort of end-game planned out.

I agree with this, but Showtime did a good job (IMO) with Ray Donovan having the same issues early on. (Storylines changed and introduced more characters, etc)

I could see where they might get stuck quickly if they don't have a plan.

They already greenlit season 2 so they obviously have a plan going forward.

Like I said I think Axe takes a huge loss or something dramatic happens to him and season 2 is built around him dealing with his loss of standing etc
