That said, be ready to sit at Hex for a long time. People constantly complain that endgame players have "nothing to do," but the reason mid-game players struggle so hard to catch up is because the AP cap changes absolutely gutted mid-game grind spots. Progression there is slower than it's ever been, and it's what actually creates the gap everyone keeps arguing about. You're locked into about 1.5-2.5bil/hr spots for MONTHS.

Thank you! You know it’s funny, I never thought I’d be worrying about this level due to time limitations. So I basically ignored it and just played the game slow and concentrated on everything life skills and the home manor stuff had to offer. Now that I am there, I’m clueless even though I’ve played the game since start!
I’m getting all the crystals fixed (one major problem) and trying to figure out the best combo for my artifacts (all out attack or something that uses irridecants) Ash Forrest had been good due to the Debo drops, I usually get one every hour and a half. The prices have dropped but they are still and easy 300 mill if I need to sell them quick.
It is odd to be locked into zones now compared to the past. I like the zones we have, but it would be nice for an expansion of them. I’d be happy if they upgraded ones we have. I’ve always liked Saunrils it it’s just a waste of time due to silver/hr

i wrapped up the season pass with her this morning and i do like her more now than I originally did, but being shackled to that BSR buff is something they definitely gotta change. I like the concept behind it, but it really hurts if you try to do much of anything outside of high mob density areas.

The ball was even more pathetic than normal. The only 2 people I know that still actively play are just 2 weary korean small business owners paying some pinoy to grind crons so they can log in and click a couple enhancement attempts a week.

They try to talk to me about bdo when we are playing actual fun games and it's just cringe. Plot is completely lost. I hope it dies soon.

Ya, like even just going around doing the dark rift bosses they felt noticeably slower than my witch. High density mobs where you can be in light form almost all the time feels great on the other hand.

Rift bosses giving crons now is a good motivation to start doing them again. Dont think Ive done one in months but this week Ill knock them out.

Ive not been doing much for the few weeks since the Ball other than fishing and running the weekly Edania boss, but I almost fell out of my chair today. The 5k crons from last nights log in actually scored a success and I tapped my main hand Sov to DEC. A bit over a 1% chance and my 44th attempt.

I'm going to laugh if/when they finally release the Academy, we'll find out that the free pen (2) will be time gated til after Crimson Desert is released.

At the end of the day that only really fucks new players. A PEN Blackstar really ain't shit anymore.

Which is insane when you think about it PEN blackstar isn’t even end game anymore. It’s only the starting point to get to end game, crazy times.

It’s great they are giving out all the free stuff, but I still don’t see anything meaningful on the horizon. I’d love something to re vitalize sea content for example. The Siren is great but why not do more. Heck why not do more mythical monsters like Siren and Kreator except make it really worth it to find and beat them.
Taking a break from the grind and just doing some sea stuff (blue gear grind) and mansion items quest work. With all its faults, it is insane how much stuff there is in this game. My Shai playing “piano man” on the stage in my mansion’s garden surrounded by quest items is pretty insane ( a time waste but hey )

New Dehkia spots add a nice "upper" mid-game option for people who are stuck between DSR/Tungrad and not quite ready for Orbita, Tenebraum, and Zephyros. There was a pretty big gap there and these spots should fit in nicely. I'm betting Gyfin will be a group spot but I hope Mirumok isn't. If they both are, that still leaves a pretty big gap for solo players between DSR and Edania gear levels.

Cup mats being CM listable and also exchangeable for new items dropped by Dehkia spots is also a big win. It should help lower players progress faster by getting their cups and being able to sell mats from lower level spots right out of Season.

I'd wait until the end of the month. Olvia Academy is supposed to release, which will revamp a lot of the "new player" experience, as well as give out 2 additional PEN Blackstar weapons. Which means you should now be looking at 3 PEN Blackstars and 1 TET Blackstar as a new player.
