still not sure if the movie is really a part of gunn's. he said at first, blue beetle is the 1st character of the gunnverse, but not the 1st movie. bb's director has been going around saying it is the 1st movie.

Gunn also said that everything before the new Superman isn't necessarily canon. Even the Peacemaker/Suicide Squad stuff well have some retcon.

Then he'll download a shitty cam version partially obscured by fedora wearing morons. The cherry on the cake will be his review, not of the film but of the "crappy CGI"

Given all the negative press and narrative of failure, I could see some impact to what would have been another guaranteed blockbuster in Aquaman 2.

That, and the test screenings were atrocious complete with walkouts.

Gunn authorizing some reshoots is unlikely to save it.

Amber Heard was a goal they needed to overcome. a dead franchise until 2025 may be too big a hurdle.
