I've been waiting for my buddy to progress further in the game and so have played all four hunters to ~level 10 in the first 'zone'. There is an impressive amount of content including periodically changing missions, random spawning mini bosses, side quests and the like.
It definitely has a stronger feel of 'wander around and find shit' than BL3 did. In fact it's most similar to the very first game, which feels intentional as this is a soft reboot of the franchise.
Have a 5070Ti and had decent frame rates even before turning on DLSS and am now hovering around 150 fps. Very smooth and also pretty.
My only significant complaint is with the inventory system. The original had one of the most elegant inventory management systems ever, which is why it was replicated for every other game in the series. The new one is clunky in comparison and the filter settings don't persist so it defaults to Manufacturer each time you open the backpack.
Nevertheless it's a fun game and I feel I got my money's worth.
