Camera is being "pulled along" almost giving it a hitching effect which will cause motion sickness. They need to work on camera stability and smoothness.
Unless that's an FPS issue which I had considered, but it appears to just be a clunky camera. The basic stilted low quality animations are "fine" but the camera needs to be smoothed out. A good camera is non-negotiable in today's gaming. Graphics quality doesn't matter as much as the camera.

I thought this game wasn't supposed to have any PVE. I honestly wonder what this is actually going to be when (if) it releases lol. At least there was no keyboard clacking in these videos. And I mean it doesn't look groundbreaking, but its... fine visually. The LoD popping in the snow area is just begging for some fog or something to mask it a bit. I kinda get what you mean about the camera but cant pinpoint what the issue is. It looks fine to me, but maybe its a FoV thing, I get motion sickness with higher FoV and it seems pretty wide. I checked the other day and I think I backed this in like 2011? So inflation adjusted my $40 or whatever is probably... I dunno $800?

I think I narrowed it down to player animation causing the kicking/hitch effect. The effect seems to be caused by the stilted player animation on movement. FOV needs to be able to leash out a little bit as well during that combat and camera needs to sit a little higher looking down just slightly more.
I'd focus all resources into just player animation. Nobody cares if NPC animations are slide-shows.

Early Access coming. But will be open to backers first. Servers will only be up on the weekends. Early Access was given the official announcment on stream. Coming to steam soon just not yet. MJ was/is a little worried about CU. EA is a map all handcraffted (hes taking jabs at AI) not gigantic but will be at some pont. Focusing on the core game going forward so RvR, little bit of PvE and some crafting. 400 abilities already created across all the classes you will notice some from DAOC. Pushing large scale combat (I feel group RvR was better than the Zerg RvR). Crafting system is in game along with banking. Already did stat overhauls (LMFAO PANTHEON). Spring roadmap goes from March-June. The team and MJ feel this build is ready for the public and its "fun". MJ started crying thanking everyone who helped them get to this point. Including the ones who are no longer with us (RIP).

AI could probably generate environments that 99% of players wouldn’t be able to distinguish from handmade, but I guess when you’ve spent a decade going nowhere you look for a point of pride anywhere.
