When Brian Kelly left for Notre Dame, my friend said that it was a terrible career move because despite the prestige of a job they will not be winning a national championship any time soon. I said Brian Kelly was one of the best coaches in nation, and that with the recruits that Notre Dame brings in Kelly will win a national championship at ND. So a bet was struck - 1 bottle of high end scotch of the winners choice - payable upon either ND winning it all or at the time Kelly leaves/ is dismissed/ is fired from ND.
