Grats MSU, and especially Dantonio. Glad to see the guy who put Cincy on the map doing well.

Also grats OSU. I don't care what anyone says. That was a he'll of a run.

Huh? We should've won that easily, but yeah.
Dumar, really? It was 17-0 at one point, and OSU hasn't come back from that deficit to win like ever. MSU outplayed OSU, and our best player failed with the game in his hands. Don't be a sore loser, congratulate the winner and move on. BTW, I'm tOSU alumni, so it's not like I'm not a fan.

I'm wondering if the 4 team playoff was in place this year if OSU would even make it, curious to see where they fall to.

Still pretty crazy to look back at Auburn last year when they didn't win a single SEC game.

Thank god our players don't intro themselves as being from "Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College".
It's really weird. Even during freshmen orientation the administration put a really heavy emphasis on THE. It was crazy fucking dumb and weird.

My prediction from two weeks ago,

It's going to be really funny when Michigan State wins the Big 10.
and yes, it is just as funny as I imagined. I wonder if Dumar is going to tell us how it was an ESPN conspiracy to have OSU play Michigan State to ruin their national championship shot.

You are aware that this discussion is all in the context of who deserves to be playing in the championship game if TOSU had won tonight? Perception is the only thing in that situation, and that is the reason that people were shit talking TOSU and wanting to bump Auburn over them if they won the SEC title game. Whereas all you hear about FSU with a similar SoS is how potent their game is and that their QB is almost a lock for the Heisman.
Big difference is FSU played no one and curb stomped them like nobodies. This OSU team was playing no ones and winning 40-20. Or twice almost losing to NW and Michigan whom are both terrible this year.

It's probably a cool tradition if you go there but it's something everyone else laughs at. Just like A&M's male cheerleaders who grab their balls during the yells.

Fifth.

1.) FSU
2.) Auburn
3.) Alabama
4.) Stanford
5.) Ohio State

edit:

I must be typing in incomprehensible fashion tonight. Since Robert and now Tenks think I'm bitching about everyone being down on TOSU but giving FSU a pass. I'm actually understanding and agreeing with it.

I knew Ohio State would lose since they gave up 20 points in the first half to the worst team in the Pac 10 by far in cal. They were a pretender all the way.

I do not dispute that FSU should be in the title game. Whether tOSU had won or lost, FSU was going to the title game. So I don't see your point. I'm not discussing whether Auburn should have jumped tOSU.

I do dispute this widely held belief that somehow, because FSU can beat up on weak teams, they are going to do well against other elite teams. It's just not a valid inference.

FOUR different SEC teams now will have appeared in the title game twice over the last decade.

OSU deserved to lose that game. However in what fucking world does FSU's defense hold OSU's offense to 7 points. Its like everyone just thinks they can't manufacture yardage.
