So what was the snes era like for people?!
SNES and Sega Genesis, before biggy rapped about it I was living it.
Many games back then we didn’t demos but we could find them early in public arcades. And followed their development via gaming magazines. Until they launched in store. Malls, toys r us, Walmart. Blockbuster

In a lot of maps, If you follow lights, that's the main path
That’s pretty much every map other than optional ones later on isn’t it? There were either lamps, or brightly glowing shit.

Either way the maps were all like that one posted, just one long corridor with hidden short dead ends or loops. I thought their maps were great. Easy to follow and go right to the end but full of hidden little areas that were worth exploring. It was in stark contrast to FF16 that only had one piece of loot worth finding off the main path in the entire game.
