Whether one liked this movie or not, it's cool to recognize the rarity of something like it: A huge budget passion project that was likely doomed fiscally from the start, but the creators involved didn't care, just needed to get it done. The movie has little story to speak of, zero character arc and not even much memorable dialogue. It was purely theme driven. 100 percent thematic. You just don't see this anymore. I enjoyed the hell out of it but I understand why many didn't care for it.

Asian Agent Smith was a little strange. I liked the movie, but not enough to watch it a 2nd time. If I recall, it was really long. I saw a rip of this a few years ago.

Finally saw this since it's on Netflix. GF tuned out 10 minutes in. I turned it off after 30 mins. Seems like it could have been good but just didn't work.

Google "Cloud Atlas sucked" for about 1000 explanations of why...

I liked it, but I can't imagine watching it at home.
