This Ohio St and VT game is incredible! They are getting manhandled and I'm enjoying every second of it.

Ohio St. is always overrated, over-ranked, over-appreciated. This kinda proves that point... No worries, they'll still be in the top 25 Coach's Poll and AP Poll next week even after this massacre.

EDIT: HOLY HELL this game!

But... But.... Urban is building an SEC team at Ohio State I was told!

Unfortunately for Ohio State, someone forgot to tell them he was building the 2010 Florida Gators.

I was guessing it was at least 10 years since VT beat a top 10.. and it was 10 years ago over WVU.

I hear someone may have seen this coming:

Ohio State could lose at home in Week 2 to an unranked team. I'm not sure why ESPN gets its head so far up its ass about who is ranked and who isn't. I thought we have a playoff system now to ward off some of the stupid.

Virginia Tech's definitely fallen off in recent years, but it's been because of a dated offense and a total decline in special teams. The defense is strong as ever. OSU will definitely remain favored, and rightfully so...but I dunno how fun it's going to be for a freshman QB to see a Bud Foster defense in his second game as a starter. Scratch that, firstrealgame as a starter. I'm sure he'll do fine against Navy.

I'm not going to sit here and predict a victory, but if the new Tech QB can take care of the ball and the defense plays to its usual standard it'll be a game. Fun fact: One team on its schedule held Alabama to less than 300 yards of offense last year. Virginia Tech gave up 206 before the offense and special teams imploded and sent a load of points the other way.

Expecting Ohio St. to be ranked 23 on Coach's Poll, 24 on AP Poll next week. Much like what happened to Clemson when they got their ass beat by Georgia, they still remained Top 25.

I just graduated from Ohio State. My friends were in agreement our offensive line is going to get us destroyed after watching the Navy game last week. I imagine at the end of the season we'll see Tom Herman (OC) and Luke Fickell (DC) no longer coaching at OSU. We pretty much relied on our offensive line and Carlos Hyde + Braxton Miller the last two years; our receiving corps is very underutilized. Our secondary has been weak (and poorly coached imo) since Fickell was the interim HC. This current team needs a lot more experience, which is expected, and much better coaching adjustments. I don't really care how tOSU does this season, but I hope we get our coaching staff sorted out before next year's training camp.

Edit: I don't want to take any credit away from VT either; their QB made the best out of the 3rd & longs and the defense played above their (already high) standard.

Yeah, after coming down from the victory hype it's kind of shocking to see the issues you guys are going to have on the offensive line this year. 7 sacks, 11 TFL is not even a missing Braxton Miller problem.

This basically has to be the worst 5ish year stretch in recent history for the Big Ten conference. What do you even say about today's shitfest in the midwest? Michigan and Nebraska especially...holy shit, man.

Man yesterday was a huge day for the Big10 to try and show they're still relevant and they shit the bed hard. Michigan, Nebraska, MSU and OSU...
