My old roommate was going nuts today being a GT grad and all, lol.

Lets hope Auburn can wreck this playoff even more, War Eagle and stuff!

WTF refs stop to review after a play was run, SEC refs trying hard to make sure Bama stays in this playoff.

So snapping the ball prevents review of the previous play...until it doesn't? What happened to the little run play after the catch? Home cookin' for the SEC's playoff hopes, maybe?

SEC doesn't need obvious refs are obvious to get an SEC team into the playoff. The Playoff Committee Chairman will ensure that.

They do this shit all the time in college it just usually isn't that late. They stop plays well after the snap claiming they were buzzed before the snap, which is total horse shit.

I thought OU got screwed over once because of the same thing but then they explained the rule. If the replay booth calls down that they want a review at any time before the next snap then it is reviewable even if the ball is snapped.

Until he hurdles a Badger and breaks something.

Who's our fourth string QB?
The amount of depth some teams have at QB is insane it seems as of late. I think it is funny that our 3rd string QB Kyle Bolin seems to be a better QB than our 1st (Gardner) and 2nd (Bonnafon). However, we do not have the same caliber of QBs at our disposal as some teams (OSU for instance; Miller and Barrett were studs).

It seems both Auburn and Bama lack the concept of defense. You have Bama's defense that doesn't even attempt to bat down balls a foot away from them and Auburn receivers are just catching them without much issue. Obviously there is exceptions...

This is the 4th or 5th time I've watched Alabama this year, and I think I'm less impressed every time.

SEC hasn't been great for like three seasons. Whole East has gone to shit and we've had mediocre champs he last three years. I mean.... 91 points? For shame.

I see a lack of blitzing, lack of good coverage, etc on defense. Seems the SEC this year is all about offense and running the score up. As I said before, seems defense is a afterthought this year

I am jealous of Bama's stadium. Damn thing is a NFL stadium FFS

Have you watched a single Florida St game this year? They've done nothing but look mediocre against average competition. They are super lucky they play in the weak-ass ACC.
Oh nodoubt about it. UF was the best team they played this year which is really pathetic.

Compare the top 25 with their 2014 recruiting class. Interesting when you compare AP/Coaches Poll ranking to their recruiting ranking. Some teams are getting bargains, specifically Miss St., Louisville, G. Tech, TCU. Their 2013 recruiting rankings are pretty similar too with very successful seasons.

I'm fairly certain that recruiting rankings go something like this:

Rivals, ESPN, Scout, etc...

- They know the top 100-150ish recruits fairly well, so they can assess them fairly accurately. These are all of your 5-star recruits and the top-end of the 4 star recruits.

- Beyond that, they basically just look at who is offering the kid and assign an arbitrary rating based on that. If a kid is being offered by Texas, Alabama, LSU, USC, etc, they'll slap 4 stars on him. If he's being offered by the likes of Missouri, Iowa, Oklahoma St, etc they give the kid 3 stars. If you're getting offers from kansas, buffalo, wyoming, vanderbilt, you're probably getting 2 stars or lower

They can't possibly have actually looked at tape of thousands of kids to accurately give them all rankings right out of the gate. I have a feeling its based mostly on what kind of programs are offering them.

This is why you constantly see teams near the top of the rankings like Miami, Tennessee, Michigan, Notre Dame, etc, yet those teams have sucked more often than not in recent years. The recruits they are getting aren't significantly better than most other big-conference teams(who may be ranked in the 20-50 range), but because of their name the recruiting services just assumed they are only making offers to future sure-fire NFL players for the most part. And they arent. Not lately anyways.

Not only that, but there's also massive collusion going on...anyone who thinks otherwise is crazy. We always wondered why Pitt's recruit rankings were so high, Bob Lichtenfels runs the fucking Pitt scout board and is the guy who decides star rankings for kids in the east-northeast. Pitt commits almost always get immediately bumped up 1 star on scout.com thanks to this dickhead as soon as they verbal to that school.

Also, I think it was some South Carolina coach who mentioned he can get a recruits star ranking by one quick phone call.....and recruits DO look at the rankings of other kids when deciding on schools so they can play with better teammates etc.

Bottom line of cfb: the rich get richer in every facet. Also, fuck rivals week. We somehow get arbitrarily assigned Iowa State as a B12 rival.....snooze. I miss playing Pitt
