It's going to be funny when Baylor and TCU end up with the same record and split the "one true Big 12 champion" title.
What's going to be even more hilarious is if TCU and Baylor win out and Minnesota goes 0-3 or 1-2, TCU's perceived SOS advantage is going to disappear. Nevermind thatcurrent SOSbetween the two isn't nearly as far apart as the talking shit-heads on ESPN want you to believe.

Which competitive defense are you talking about then?
Total Defense | FBS Football Statistics - NCAA.com

Ole Miss is going to be a beast the next few years on the D. Bama has always got a decent one as long as Kirby Smart stays around. That Michigan looks like an aberration, but they cant score worth a damn.

Oregon is 104th

TCU is 50th..which is a freaking surprise to me....maybe they should be top 4.

Not trying to start a fight, I am just stating what I like in a football team. Mariota is a beast and should have won more than one heisman..and should get PAID in the NFL.

Keep beating up on SoCal team's for us please. I went to the Tide game with UCLA (pre Saban) and it made me a sad panda. I lived two blocks away from the stadium at the time, and I had more than a few miserable walks home. You can't get college girl pussy when you are depressed about the football game.

Cut one or two rent a wins, 16 team playoff, profit.
Not entirely sure a larger playoff will work in anybody elses favor besides the SEC unfortunately. Especially if they keep getting ranking (thus seeding) boosts from the polls..which means more home games...which means so-so big 12 teams or Pac 12 teams playing at ROUGH places like LSU.

The SEC dominance would either be confirmed or debunked. If you ended up with a couple of years of SEC teams playing each other after they went through 12 other teams then I'd say they get what they deserve.

You simply take the playoffs, make the other conferences play each other if they don't in the regular season and you settle a lot of this bull shit of who is better than who. Especially over a few years when certain conferences get their shit pushed in every year.

Doesn't matter if they are ranked dead last of Div 1 shoots it's still a tough place to play on the road. That was his point I believe.

This . Sorry. Death Valley is a nightmare to play in. I realize now that wasn't common knowledge.

Quitting on florida citing personal reasons with stress and kids and then immediately turning around and joining Ohio State.

Oh thats after he flip flopped a few times on florida
Good point, just never remembered hating the guy so much.

I get douche chills every time he is on screen. I think he has the most punchable face of any college football coach besides Brian Kelly.

tOSU was his dream job and a huge step up. No reason whatsoever to hate on a guy for that.

It may have been his dream job, but it was a lateral move at best. The only thing better about the Ohio St job is playing in an easier conference. Saban scared Urban out of the SEC.

I don't think many would argue that Florida has been a better program for the past 20 years. No one gives a shit about National titles from the 1940s
