Unless you're a Georgia fan, and then you bitch and moan about not winning your division despite the fact that you flat-out lost more games. According to Georgia fans, Baylor should still win the B12 in that scenario, because they beat the champion head to head, despite losing more games overall. Heck, by that logic, Ole Miss should be representing the SEC West in the championship game, since they beat Alabama...
Ok, I'll bite. Show me the Georgia fan saying records shouldn't matter when determining conference division winners.

Getting blown out at home has left you all stupid, kid.

How does it feel to know your program is the next Notre Dame, Michigan, Nebraska to forever be overrated and irrelevant?
Oh don't troll. You know those three don't apply.

Hey WhatsA, you are alive! When are you jumping on the fire Richt bandwagon? Having the poor man's version of Mack Brown as your HC has got to suck.

I feel like the SEC would take Virginia Tech and Virginia in a heartbeat if the ACC folded. So yeah, do that.

It is only a matter of time; We're Texas. Oh, and you're Baylor. LOL
Uhh, before Mack you were terrible for like 20 years. Texas is better than Baylor but it's not some flagship program based on actual wins, just geography.

Yay, Texas has no winning history. It isn't 4th all time in wins or anything.

Like Texas is some powerhouse program. You can swap out the Big 12 with the old Big East title and be the same conference. A lot of shit teams, maybe 2 floating turds rising above the rest. Have fun the next 20 years rotating to the Alamo Bowl and Holiday Bowls. Texas football is only big in Texas, and they aren't even the top 3 Texas teams now. You had a great 4 year run out of the past 30 years. Hope you don't die of old age before it happens again.

As I've noted to you a couple of times you have less titles than my alma mater, the mighty Golden Gophers. Not to mention you played shit for years and then were shit. Congrats on having VY have a transcendent year and making you something in your recent history, there's a reason your had McCombs though wanting to suck Saban off.

Are you really claiming titles from before WW2?

Well, Texas only has 1 title post-Vietnam war. No one under the age of 50 remembers any titles other than 05.

Number of national titles in the past 40 years:
Alabama - 6
Miami - 5
Oklahoma - 4
Florida - 3
Florida St. - 3
Nebraska - 3
LSU - 2
USC - 2
Notre Dame - 2
Penn St - 2
Auburn - 1
Texas - 1
Ohio St - 1
Tennessee - 1
Michigan - 1
Washington - 1
Colorado - 1
BYU - 1
Clemson - 1
Georgia -1
Pittsburgh - 1

10 teams have won multiple AP/BCS national titles in the past 40 years. Texas is not one of them. But to be fair, neither is Ohio St or Michigan. All three of those programs are quite over-valued in this day and age of college football. They have as much claim to "history" and "tradition" as the likes of Washington, Pitt, & Colorado.

Also, I didn't count any of the weirdass, old poll national titles like the Harris Poll, or UPI/NFF polls. If we count those, everyone and their mother can claim a title at some point, even Missouri, and...well no, just no. I only counted BCS/USA Today(Coach's Poll)/AP Poll Champions

Clue in a noob here. Why in the hell isn't FSU the #1 seed for the playoffs.

I haven't been following that much this year but why the hell isn't FSU the #1 seed for the playoffs.
Too many close games with bad to mediocre teams. I don't necessarily agree with it, but that's the general theory. They've been trailing unranked teams in the 4th quarter 4 or 5 times this year.

Unfortunately, Paul Bryant Jr is my fucking cousin. And that UAB routine makes me ill.

Joeboo, in the past two years how many of Mizzou's conference wins were vs teams with a winning record?...

I count "vacated" titles unless it was some kind of mass PED scandal or something. Reggie Bush's mom staying in a house for $0 rent didn't make him a better running back. The game was played, can't make 60 minutes of football disappear.

USC has 3 titles, that vacated one is bullshit.
USC only had 2 in the 2000s, 2003(split with LSU, LSU was the BCS & coaches poll champ, USC was the AP champ) and 2004(the vacated one)

They also have a *kinda* claim to split titles in 78 and 74, but they were not the AP champion in either year, but several lesser polls named them

So on my list, USC either has 2(how I counted) or 4(if you count EVERY poll there is). The last unanimous title USC had won before the two in the mid 2000s was 1972, but that was before the timeframe of my list
