Foggy, I swear to god that every day I go to the Sooner message boards there is another story about a Texas player transferring or being kicked off the team. Are you going to be able to field 22 by October?

Let's hope not, forfeiting the year will be more enjoyable than what is about to happen.

I agree that Tennessee has a real good shot at being 8-4. However, most of the sentiment I have seen/read around Volnation is that they will be 9 or ten wins. The problem with that is, if Jones ends up eking out 8 wins or even just going 7, there will be calls for his head. Tennessee has a good thing going, and it is not going to happen over night, especially until they get their OL built back up, and the absolute last thing they need is to completely uproot their coaching staff yet again.

(I really do hope they snap their losing streak to Mizzou and Florida though)

Honestly surprised to see Texas that low. Teams like Florida, Miami, and Florida St make sense, they didn't really become consistently elite until the past 25-30 years, but Texas has been a powerhouse for 50+ years now. I mean, they won outright national titles in the 60s, and even have some of those obscure/disputed titles from the 30s and 40s. Its not like they just got good in since the 80s or something like the Florida schools.

Ya, padding your winning record vs community colleges from the 1930s shows how much of an out standing football program you are. I'm sure the likes of Daniel Baker and Haskell Indian Nations will be pushing for that 1 A status and go for a BCS championship soon.

This goes for all teams. Shit needs to be split up in eras and not just combined.

Don't pretend that bullshit does not still go on today.

Hey now, be nice. Baylor has to play kansas, they can't help having the worst team in the country on their schedule
To be fair they will have to win by 80 or go down in the rankings that week. They will get their sprints in.

I know absolutely no one here follows kansas football(there's really no reason too), but it's honestly pretty comical over there right now.

New coach has cleaned house pretty well, and they're all the way down to only 63 scholarship players for this year (the FCS limit). They're basically missing an entire years worth of recruits/players (22 scholarships, 85 schollys being the FBS limit).

their Vegas Over/Under for wins this season is 1.5. I'd take the under. I'd bet they don't even get back to 4-5 wins for another 2-3 years, at least. They make Vanderbilt look like Alabama.
