And in case you were wondering if this was somehow against the rules, apparently not!
According to NCAA Coordinator Of Officials Rogers Redding, J.C. Coleman's on-field gold watch is "OK." I say it's A-OK.
Sadly, that may actually spawn some scrutiny. I foresee people looking into this guy's family to see if it is something in the realm of affordable to them, then you'll see people call that out real quick if it is discovered they cannot (even though he may have saved money to buy it himself). That was not a smart decision to wear it not only for the "what-if" of it breaking, but also for the above.NCAA investigation incoming...

It is humorous seeing all these SEC schools gain 1-3 ranks when beating borderline community colleges.Ah the week 1 polls after everyone beats cupcake U.
I agree, it definitely should have happened after the TCU and Arkansas debacles. The word is that Watson called last year's offense in the game, not the new one that was installed in the offseason. What was called was not what was prepared all offseason and the week leading up to the game. Whether it was intentional subordination or he fell back into what he was comfortable with when the pressure was on isn't know. The later is more likely. That is the reason for such a quick demotion. Not that I don't agree with the decision(although it probably should have happened after the end of last season), demoting a coordinator after just 1 game looks pretty bad.
LOL Gil you post this at the beginning of every season since 2002.So excited for this weekend. I can't decide if I want to go to the game or watch on my gigantic TV.
