To add on to the obnoxiousness, the only reason we lost to USC is our best player in the country, Zach Moss, who you've never heard of even though you're a "football fan", missed 3/4 of the game from injury.

I know Moss and I hope you fuck Herbert til he can't stand straight next week. Having a QB argument with a guy where they look at his size and Oregon's record and think he's actually a top tier QB.

I hate to admit it, but I think Ohio State is really that good this year. I hate that program. Ohio State/LSU would be a hell of a national championship game. I think Ohio State wins that. Bummer. Congrats to all the Buckeye fans out there.

At least Notre Dame beat Stanford at home, which I don't think they've done since 2007. This is also the first time since Lou Holtz we've had three consecutive years of at least ten wins. I know people like to hate the Irish, but they do have a quality program at this point, and are recruiting well. I wish they could get to the playoffs and actually do something other than shit the bed.

24 USC 8-4 157 1
25 Air Force 10-2 65 NR

Alabama at 9th is delicious. Especially considering Florida is ranked 7 with their two losses. And while Memphis had a good year, they shouldn't be ranked higher than, say, Michigan. And I think they're being overly generous to Auburn.

I mean three losses should probably be more impactful to ranking , but they were to LSU (3 points), Georgia (7 on a final drive) and Florida while we beat Alabama. Not insinuating we should be top 10 or anything but don’t see how we’re really that overrated. It’ll be an interesting bowl match up though.

USC being in the top 25 is a joke, especially with their 4 losses. If the last 5 positions mean so little, just add teams with cool names and good records. Give me the 10-2 Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns over another cream puff from the PAC-12.

Florida should be ranked higher - it pains me to admit it, but damn, our best win is Texas A&M.

So best case scenario would be Georgia beating LSU in the SEC championship game by a field goal in triple overtime. Clemson gets beaten by VIrginia. Then Oregon beats Utah and OU and Baylor tie 112 - 112 in ten OTs.

tOSU, Georgia, LSU and Florida in the playoffs.

Regime Regime amirite?

I feel like people are just ignoring Clemson. They haven't played a hard schedule to say the least but they've shitstomped their last 7 opponents and we all know what happened last season.

I hate Saban as much as anyone, but does anyone really think they lose that game with a healthy Tua?

Irrelevant. They played, they lost. What ifs and what could have beens are stupid.

Oh gosh! What if Saban has pulled an already recovering from injury Tua when they were up 38-7???

That's fine, I just think it's funny that people shit on him when basically every other school would swap coaches with them if they could.

I only shit on him for three reasons:

1) Fuck Alabama
2) It is funny watching him throw tantrums on the side line like a child. I love seeing a passionate coach willing to defend his team against refs or be tough with the players. But damn Saban looks retarded pitching fits.
3) Equally hilarious seeing them lose because of his insistence that you don’t need kickers. They’ve missed more kicks than any other team in NCAA since he took over and now lost multiple multiple games because of it.

Really #1 is the only important one. The rest are just to point and laugh. He’s probably the best coach there’s been though.

I really wouldn't have cared either way, the only reason he got more than average Saban hate is he opened his mouth about a certain play he and his team weren't on top of. That and he literally said once they recruited players to score touchdowns, not kick field goals.

Sure I think we could have lost that game with a healthy Tua... hell we scored 45 points on what is probably a top 3 defense in the nation, if not the best. Granted Waddle did a lot of that work.

We are just bad on defense right now... just painful to watch. Injuries have a lot to do with it but still, all teams deal with that. As for kickers, not sure where Saban says he doesn’t need one, he just hasn’t seemed to recruit them well. The kid that started the season was promising but messed up his hip.
