Can we get a server restart? Perhaps nightly? Some NPC camps are buggy and none of my archer thralls seem to do anything but stand there.

On a separate note, the devs are revamping land claim and decay to combat douchebags and their NPC camp blocking.

We've been paying close attention to your feedback over the past couple of weeks, and are working to release the biggest patch the Exiled Lands has seen to date!

Look out for this patch in the next couple of days:

Performance and Tech fixes

• Fixes to loading screens
• Server Performance Fixes
• NPCs should be less jittery when rotating
• A fix for connecting to servers via the Steam server browser and when using Steamconnect
• Buildings should now load in much faster
• Placeables placed on foundations and ceiling tiles will now be saved correctly
• Several improvements to how rocks behave when they are harvested


General Bug Fixes and improvements

• Small Placeables will no longer claim land (!)
• NPC Camps now have their own land claim to prevent people from building so close to them that they stop spawning NPCs (!!)
• You should no longer get phantom duplicates in the wheel of pain
• T2 Altars should no longer disappear
• Surrender should no longer break early when using fists
• Removed invisible collision that was blocking a certain chest in the world
• Arrows will now longer shoot in “Random crazy directions”
• Ranged weapons should now always fire correctly
• Rhinos should no longer try to walk through players
• Palisades will now correctly deal damage on contact
• Palisades should now be easier to place
• Fixed a case where players were able to destroy rocks with their fists. Sorry, but this privilege is reserved only for Conan himself.
• Fixed an issue where interactable objects would spam “Press E to interact” on the GUI
• Added an arrow to many placeables to help players orient them correctly
• The Offering of Mitra recipe now correctly requires 1 human heart and 1 unblemished meat
• Fixed an issue with stair placement detection
• The Gong and the Horn will now be audible over greater distances
• Added new emotes that can be learned by tracking down Story NPCs and getting them to teach you


Balance and Gameplay Fixes

• Some feat requirements have been simplified or removed. For example, it is now possible to learn Journeyman Craftsman as soon as you hit level 10. Due to the impact of this change all players have gotten a free feat respec.
• Ansel will now respect collision preventing people from moving through walls and other structures
• Non Admins will be restricted to 2 meters of movement when using Ansel
• Balance pass on Bows. Simple Bow range has been increased, Hyrkanian Bow range has been dramatically increased. Crossbow range has been reduced but they now shoot much faster
• We have done an overhaul on what monsters can damage which tier of buildings. If you haven’t upgraded from sandstone you might want to think about doing that.
• Increased crafting XP across the board with greater increases for crafting more complex (higher tier) items
• Inverted Wooden Roof Wedge and Stonebrick Frame now require Journeyman Craftsman instead of Master Craftsman
• Black rocks in the starting desert are now harvestable
• Higher grade tools will now yield higher amounts of secondary resources (Bark/branches)
• Resetting your Knowledge Points will no longer cause you to lose your selected religion
• Removed Corruption sources from starting area caves
• Removed the Regen component from Purified Meat. This perk is reserved to Mitra's Ambrosia and Healing Potions. Purified Meat is still an extremely good food source
• Player corpses can only be harvested for religious purposes once every 30 minutes
• Balance pass on the amount of materials requires for basic chemistry potions
• Armor drops removed from chests
• Emus will now give less XP


Visual Improvements

• The Dogs of the Desert finally got their uniform shipment and will be donning their new outfits
• Visual adjustment to the Medium Tasset to reduce clipping issues
• Visual adjustments to the Setite Choker and Shendyt to reduce clipping issues
• Updated Cutlass and Falcata icons
• Visual flair added to several hairstyles
• Visual improvements to female heads

awesome. Wonder which are "small placeables" standing torches I'm sure. which would be great. I love lighting up roads. Benches/stools as well. Hope a column of some kind is added or the like. torches look best when placed on a foundation. But, I highly doubt foundations will be "small placeables."
I suppose, when I say that. I actually would like sandstone foundations, ceilings and stairs to NOT claim land. Bridges, and stairs being public would be nice. or, I suppose the ability to abandon/set as open.

It looks like coal - I've tried to farm it. Nothing happens when you hit it but if you hit e it says to equip a tool to harvest.

One thing we noticed yesterday trying to install a wall was that the circle is actually a cylinder and if anyone places items above and near you they will cut off where you can build down below.

The example is there were some stairs placed on a very high cliff. We kept getting land claimed until we removed said stairs and that opened up all the land beside us to finish the wall.

yeah, is that you mita? the ramp I placed on the mountain, to check and see if someone could jump down into my base from that cliff? I noticed it was removed, as you? expanded your fort over that archway.

ps. I moved. your? base was getting too big/an eyesore. haha. And, I was concerned about npc despawning, if I started pushing towards that npc camp/spidercave. The npc camp in the river is gone. I don't know if that was my base, or what.
I left most of the building there. Can practice raiding on it or something. if you want any of it removed specifically, I suppose I would.

Our bases (two we use, a few old ones we need to go det) aren't really growing in size. We've built the shell of what we wanted and then have been filling out the inside/upgrading them. Also putting up flags. Mita loves flags. And banners. But, Mita and myself and anyone I am inviting to the game are all pretty much trying to work out of our existing areas and not expand into blocking resources or spawns.

Vepil is Vepil in game, and I know he's built downstream from the undead dungeon and a friend of his who recently joined is building next to him.

Who are you in game? I know we found someone trying to kill our thralls and they died horribly. Was this by chance you?

It was my two buddies that joined recently building there and myself helping them. The camp despawned because of the foundations placed all over with torches on the ramp. Noticed yesterday whomever is in our area has been taking out thralls a lot.

If you did move can you destroy all the stuff you left? That would help out a lot.

cassandra. nah. didnt attack your thralls. Haven't seen anyone in game named Vepil.

pink dot is old location, I thought the yellow and orange tower, fort were you two.

Server just crashed when i clicked on the crafting recipe for the glass light. Do not click this in your book it crashes server.
