So warner spent $70m on it, thought it was crap, shelved it for a tax write-off, but then the Internet/Hollywood complained, so they sold it to another company for $50m

They thought it wasn't going to be profitable, all indications by those that saw it was that it was something special. This was a causality of Zaslav, Im actually looking forward to it.

this had limited previews today so i took some visiting rugrats and it was awesome. 9/10, very funny, not too long, great member berries from looney tunes cast.

opens wide next week, crazy that WB shelved it to save some bucks on taxes, how fucking retarded

Well not to disparage spronk spronk but: There is a 4K stream out and I attempted to watch it with my wife. I grew up with WB cartoons she did not but wow was it bad. I made it about 1/3 of the movie and deleted it. 'member' berries are about the only thing going for it.

I mean when I was a kid watching WB cartoons I definitely remember thinking “man what this stuff could really use is some lawyers added in!”
