They thought it wasn't going to be profitable, all indications by those that saw it was that it was something special. This was a causality of Zaslav, Im actually looking forward to it.

this had limited previews today so i took some visiting rugrats and it was awesome. 9/10, very funny, not too long, great member berries from looney tunes cast.

I mean when I was a kid watching WB cartoons I definitely remember thinking “man what this stuff could really use is some lawyers added in!”

I think the latter half of the plot was written poorly. Not sure if this was some messaging thing or rushed re-writing or whatever, but I thought it could've been more solid. I'm a big Will Forte fan so I loved his performance, but they definitely could've used a little more zany out of him. If they just want him as a straight man they could've just used the regular Justin Bateman route.

There were a few solid jokes like the anti-predator spray and the art modeling and some other stuff, but it was decent. I'd say definitely worth a watch with kids when it's out on VoD or something. I'd give it maybe a 7/10 mostly because I'm a big Forte guy and I felt they didn't use him to his full potential. Wile E was pretty great in it though. They really did lean into him being competent and his equipment just fucking him over nonstop. Cena was also underused, but I'm guessing he and Forte but like to work OFF of people and it was a bit harder when interacting with cartoon stand-ins.
