Not that I'm aware of, but they certainly made them both a lot more playable by adding skills / abilities to them that allowed them to do everything that only Cliff could do. The DLC apparently has a storyline for both, no idea how deep or even if those storylines will be necessary.

For those who liked CD and are getting the DLC, but haven't played in months, I'd recommend getting back into it before the DLC drops. Takes a bit to get used to the control setup, plus all the skills got reset so you'll need to redo your build.

Finally finished the MSQ, and to be honest, it was OK up til the Golden Dragon fight onward, at that point it was just bad. Bad fights, bad pacing, just bad. The game is at its absolute best when you ignore the MSQ and just go explore the world doing the little side quests / regional stuff.
Odd thing, with this "Enhanced" version they supposedly made the MSQ pacing/dialogue better than at launch, so I'm wondering if any of that took effect on my save or not. Anyway, glad I'm done with that. I had thought the MSQ would take you to every region, but it doesn't, it leaves the entire north-east quadrant of the map untouched, which is cool.

That looks really good, but why does it always seem so windy? Foliage is going nuts constantly. I know the base game is like that too though.

Two nice QoL changes i e seen so far have been that new Damaine and Oongka get the same amount of ability points to spend as Kliff, and now you can extract resources you put into gear you've enhanced without destroying that gear. You get 75% of the basic resources and all the artifacts/scales.

That later one has been in for quite a while.
I really really need to pick this back up, I only had gotten as far as MSQ when you start to play as oonka, but my main character is already 10/10 everything and pretty much was face rolling any of the "big" world bosses like the 4-5 dark mages etc. Have like 10 YT tabs in a window saved for trying to chase around various gear for looks, want to get the frostwraith whatever stuff.
