all 10 episodes of S02 are out on netflix. Interestingly season 2 is offered in 4K DV/HDR while season 1 was 1080p (but did have DV/HDR encoding).

Downloaded, but probably gonna rewatch s1 before I watch s2 since its been a while and i don't remember much except ultra violence.

While season 1 is the same universe there is no connection of characters or story to season 2. You can watch season 2 without ever having watched season 1.

op starts out like 8mile? beat is the same

1st episode is basically the ending in phantom liberty if you have the nsu save you but you lost your chrome, even get beat up by street punks lulz

i was doing a chore, english dub is horrible

so far boring

Have 4 more to watch,
there are references to the characters in Season 1 but not sure yet why
Will finish tonight. One thing that bugs, you get 2-3 minutes of the same intro and 5 minutes of credits which only leaves room for 10-11 minutes of show, this would have been better served as a movie or short. Also this is the first magna/anime style show I feel like I understand.

Finished it, not as good as season 1. Found out the tie in I spoilered above and it turned out not to really matter, almost like a throw away to tie them together.

eps7, the characters, the split stories (which we know will eventually merge) all boring, i hate they use the young kid tag a long plot device, i've hated this since gundam war in a pocket

finished, so yea, nothing great about this anime, doesn't even come close to eps1, animation looks like the b team and the script and plot too, like it was just blah. if you liked s1, if you like cyberpunk, i would skip this, it will leave a bad taste in your mouth.
