Cyberpunk: Edgerunners

Man that is a bummer first season was great.

Typical Netflix garbage cycle. They strike gold with a creative studio, and then the condoleezzas come in a ruin shit.

Haven't watched Season 2 yet, but this sounds disappointing. I really liked the first season because of the "RPG party" with the newbie who goes on to be a badass. heh

Went in blind. I was not expecting a second season to come close to the first, so with the lower expectations I thought it was decent. There were a few times in the first couple episodes where I may have started to reach for the internet browser, but once past that, it was ok.

Not sure if I will rewatch the season, but don't regret watching it.

It's a bit like how True Detective turned out, except True Detective had much higher highs with season 1, which made that fall to season 2 more jarring.
