You missed the implication. Blizzard wants Turtle WoW's code. Retards here were talking about Daybreak just taking THJ code and making an official server with it, but THJ/EQEMU is open source. Turtle WoWs server side isn't open source, potentially Blizzard wants to take Turtle WoWs code for their Classic plus

They ask for the code to prove copyright infringement. Also if they have the code Turtle cant just reopen under a new name and if they do its easier to prove. Considering how different the base games are at this point any hackey bs they did to make it work wouldn't even be compatible.
Maybe it was a thought behind Nost, but then they build classic out on the modern WoW client so none of it mattered

Kinda, Nostalrius were fans and wanted Blizzard to do Classic servers. So Nostalrius got flown out to Blizzard HQ and taught them how to make Classic work. Nostalrius basically got paid indirectly for the code. All of the Turtle WoW stuff is built off the Nostalrius code.
No, there are pics of Nostarlius meeting with Blizzard Devs at Blizzard HQ.

And? They ended up not needing or using anything from Nost as they built it from scratch using the modern WoW client not the old one Nost used.

Blizzard is just more intelligent than Daybreak.
We're talking about a corporation that in their legal documents said they couldn't get pictures of Vox and Naggy on THJ because they were to low of a level. They hired someone to spy on THJ server and the spy failed.
Daybreak has levels of incompetence that if it were a Dragon Ball Character it would be a new form. Daybreak is just that fucking incompetent.
Blizzard is lazy and woke. It wouldn't surprise me if they took Turtles code put a coat of paint on it and said "Here's classic plus guys" and the paint would still be wet when they put it out and people would be like hey wait a moment I recognize this trans NPC, it used to be a man on TurtleWoW.
