Yeah it was legit because they where making hundreds of thousands of dollars off of it. That inspires you to fix bugs and create content more then selling plat for 20 bucks here or there.
I doubt they'll make it easy for someone else to stand up a clone.

What do you expect from a company owned by money launderers? Their overlords couldn't give two shits what Jchan does with DPG/DBG. Also confused, who thought EQ was going any direction but down? its been circling the drain for a while. It's a game that is wringing out the last $ money it can year after year until it eventually dies. If you thought otherwise, you are an idiot. If EQ was your life, you really should of accepted this at least 5 years ago.
As for EMUs, if you go beyond donations for server upkeep or "good job" on a hobby project, expect this kind of response. Like with turtle wow as they went beyond donations and sell micro transactions.

The solution is obvious: Since DBG is owned by a Russian Oligarch, in order to skirt sanctions on Russia by getting money into the western banking system, the developers of THJ need to sell all their code to a company backed by a Ukrainian Oligarch! Then they can run it as a charity for donations to stick it to Russia!
