Kolamer was a huge THJ fan and slowly began changing the subreddit rules for THJ. Pre lawsuit we had a rule against self advertising, then some dude started posting shitty THJ videos every single day and when we removed them Kolamer just removed the self promotion rule. Once the lawsuit started he decided it was Secrets fault and so began intentionally referring to Secrets as a man and approving comments we had removed from users calling Secrets a tranny etc. When we suggested that this was a bad move he removed Mandalore and I. Once THJ lost the suit he made the sub private as a way to lash out.

Regardless of what anyone thinks of Secrets, Reddit has clear rules when it comes to things like the anti trans comments.

Funny enough, like a year ago Kolamer banned all emu discussion and Mandalore and I had to persuade him that it was a stupid idea so he’d reverse it. Now he’s Mr Emu white knight.

I guess these posts are making him upset.

Here's the unfortunate reality check. Daybreak doesn't have to directly. The scope of the injunction states that "Anyone acting in concert or participating with them(THJ)" is subject to the injunction. Then it says shall not "promote" THJ or similar software.

THJ filled a request to reduce the scope of the injunction. THJ argues that innocent 3rd parties would be caught in the crosshairs for "promoting similar software"
Daybreak most recent filing was a response to that request with this https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/70555215/77/daybreak-game-company-llc-v-takahashi/ Where Daybreak asks the court to keep the overly broad injunction. Daybreak argues that the overly broad scope of the injunction should stay and that it shouldn't just apply to THJ but anyone promoting or distributing "similar software" Then DBG lawyer submitted this statement with screenshots specifically referencing r/Everquest https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/70555215/77/1/daybreak-game-company-llc-v-takahashi/ In which they use the r/Everquest comments to allege that r/Everquest is working in concert with THJ to promote a similar emu

DBG does in fact care about the subreddit. They said so in their most recent court filing. They might not have asked him to take it down, but that's very fucking misleading.
By the way the lawyers on both sides disagree with your full retard take and agree with his.

Reddit isn't FoH. My main account has been warned / suspended 3 times then permabanned for "glorifying violence", I was able to reverse the permaban with repeated filing for appeals but that account is now back to just being on its "last strike."

Reddit uses AI to do a lot of its rule enforcement, and they have several very broad rules, another rule I have gotten hit for is "harassment." What did I do? I pointed out that a person posting in one sub, had previously posted other stuff with entirely different biographical details, e.g. this person was just posting lies and pretending shit. This is considered "harassment" because my comments "discourage others from participating in communities, conversations, or the Reddit platform through harassment, bullying, intimidation, sexualizing someone without their consent, or abuse."

If you aren't on reddit it sounds silly, but Zaide is spot on, whatever one's personal opinions on trans people, if you have a public subreddit that has really vulgar anti-trans comments, and you don't moderate it, your sub is at real risk of just being nuked by the admins. There's obviously antitrans discussion on reddit, but you have to know the jiu jitsu required to phrase things on reddit that won't get you on their radar.
