Since when is getting paid a requirement for copyright infringement? Does not being liable mean Daybreak can't try to bring them into the court proceedings? It's funny all of you agreed the opposite was true when the Turtle WoW stuff dropped. But now we gotta be bad faith about it i wonder why...
Thanks for saying the quite part loud.
Dude did some mock trials in high school, he's basically a lawyer. How dare you question his legal expertise.I almost envy that amount of delusion.
Most people would begin to doubt themselves at this point. Despite not being right at any point about anything you still spew retarded bullshit that just solidifies you don't know shit about shit, but with all the confidence in the world
But would he be able to beat the black systemic racism master debaters?I would pay to watch those mock trials. I can't even imagine the hilarity. Opponents just throwing their hands up and conceding in the purest form of frustration imaginable.
If they're doing it to try and hide offending posts so DBG can't find them, then that's not going to work either and would be spoliation of evidence which would fuck them harder than whatever they're hiding in the first place.
I think they would only be really pressing the advert stuff if THJ were spending millions of dollars on it. I think DBG is trying to figure out more how much money they made with there IP vs What EQ pulled during the run time of the server.
If they really want to press this further, they could take it to the FTC but I'm sure the amount is so fucking small, that the FTC wouldn't really give a fuck.
If they are trying to do this they need to realize, reddit/discord keep copies of everything for months. The only way they are getting rid of them is if they have a friend who works in the reddit/discord DCs. Even then sense it is part of a "on-going" case if any major changes were to occur on the back-up DB, tons and tons of questions would have to be answered, then said person would be fired, and probably blacklisted.
We're talking about Daybreak here.Thinking anyone that didn't get paid by THJ to promote THJ is going to be liable for anything is about as stupid as thinking THJ was going to win the lawsuit. Hell, thinking even if you're an "influencer" and got paid to promote them you'd be liable in some way is beyond retarded.
No pregnant man reacts sad.
A reddit mod getting sued for "promoting THJ" would be completely irrelevant to a current subreddit. It would be about specific posts that have already happened in the past, since there's nothing to even promote anymore.
You guys better watch your fucking mouths or DBG is going to be coming forLightning Lord Rule next!
You've been warned!
Oh wow looks you're wrong again retard. Read the date. DBG is complaining about shit that's being posted after the Injunction.
Read the court docs. This isn't speculation

From reading that last court filing it does seem that daybreak is arguing that the defendants are in fact violating the emergency injunction.
Which defendants? Not the two THJ devs, no. random shit posters on reddit are violating the injunction by continuing to discuss thj and seeking means of restarting thj in Russia or another country that doesn't care about the injunction.
I think anyone who reads or contributes to reddit are fucking faggots who should be shot in the dick but it does look like dbg is going after reddit posters (or at least arguing that they are violating the injunction, thus they are the unnamed John Does in the suit) and it was prudent to shut down the subreddit.
I think they should go a step further and close down reddit itself and execute its tranny overlords, but shuttering the eq subreddit wasnt some baseless overreaction.
Anything against Reddit / social media users would have to be a fresh lawsuit. They’re just trying to show ongoing harm by linking comments.
There is no legal basis for unbound third parties to be included in any violation.
Are you the same guy who thought they had to front a million dollars for the surety bond?
That guy is either trolling or…not incredibly intelligent. Hard to tell on this forum. He's also the guy that swore nobody under 50 ever heard of Superman before 2013
That's not "promoting THJ" you fucking retard.

There is no legal basis for unbound third parties to be included in any violation. You cannot name John Does then later encompass random social media users as those John Does - that’s not how that works.
