It's basically all standardized that this point. You have:
your ATX 20/24 pin connector
a 4 or 8 pin EPS 12V connector
SATA connectors
6 or 8-pin PCIe connectors
and yes, Molex connectors (although not many things use Molex anymore)
you may have posted faster, but i provided pics!

The PSU generally comes with more than enough cabling of the proper connector types for any but the most extreme setups (lots of HDDs, custom water cooling, RGB madness). Even the fully modular setups come with way more cables than you'll likely use. The case will provide all of it's own internal connections for power light, power button, usb headers, etc. You MAY need a SATA cable or two, but most mobos ship with one or two. Cabling is dead simple nowadays and if you have the ability not to put a round peg in a square hole then you are set.

Routing the cables internally is the only hassle, and again most case manufactureres have cable management solutions built in. Routing holes for behind the mobo, wire arrestors to keep things managed, etc. Couple small zip ties and phillips head screw driver is all you need to go from a pile of UPS boxes to surfing porn.

Man, even on a 15 year old game (WoW) the difference between 1440p 144hz and 1080p 60hz is nuts.

My monitor has a built-in overclock to 165hz but I dunno if that has downsides or noticeable differences in visuals.

The only downside is some monitors exhibit problems when overclocking in glitchy ways, and that it can sometimes push the refresh past the monitor's response time capabilities and introduce some laggyness in the picture. It's unlikely you'll notice a difference between 144 and 165 though except when you're specifically looking for it.

It is, but I highly recommend trying out one of Logitech's newer wireless mice if you've never gamed with one. I can never go back to wired mice.

I have the g305 and I love it. Goes on sale for around $40. There's also the highly regarded g-pro wireless if you're looking to splurge
i mean i use the logitech wireless keyboard/trackpad for my htpc and treadmill, so i know they're good.

It's not just about the latency or anything like that (there is none) it's about the freedom of playing without a wire. They're also incredibly light mice which I found to be an improvment over the usual behemoth gaming mice.

Give one a try and just return it if you don't like it. I was hooked within an hour of usage.

Razer DeathAdder Elite Gaming Mouse: 16,000 DPI Optical Sensor - Chroma RGB Lighting - 7 Programmable Buttons - Mechanical Switches - Rubber Side Grips - Matte Black

it's 30bucks now, my amazon price history app says it's the lowest ever

i mean i'm still using OG death adder, and when i get this mouse i'm gonna dremel out the mouse buttons and put in cherry browns, heh.
i ordered this a few days ago. mouse is great. $30 was a no brainer for me

Some of that is Nvidia pushing monitor makers to rebrand as "Gsynch compatible" instead of "Freesych."

Pricing of Logitech mice made me try a "UtechSmart Venus 16400 DPI High Precision Laser MMO Gaming Mouse" that was on sale for twenty something last year; really good if you like more buttons.

Still use a G600, each pc has one and one stays in work bag - That and a G13/Orbweaver are my go to items for hands in any form of gaming. Couldnt imagine not being able to use 30+ buttons without shifting my hands around.
