Printed nice on the Ender 3 Pro I got for $100 at microcenter the other day, my other printer has a warranty parts in the mail. The new printer failed to stop for the filament change G code so I had to print the sword separate and will glue it.

Guess the color?
Edit: installed it on the frame. I glued it shiny side up, because the dull side was stained, but had a better texture.

So why the hate for NewEgg? I've purchased stuff from them a few times and never had any issues.

I'm in the market for a new gaming rig. I'd really rather buy a prebuilt so that I can avoid the time and risk of DIY but I am open to arguments as to why I should. I get it that some people are really into nerding out on it I feel like I'd rather just get something good off the shelf and get right into gaming on it.

EDIT: I'm thinking about something like this: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC - Intel i7 12700KF - GeForce RTX 3070 Ti - 16GB DDR4 3000MHz - 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD - Newegg.com At $2200, I'm guessing I could probably build it myself and save a few 100? To me that's a fair trade.

right now, prebuilt is one of the only ways to get a modern video card anyway, if you do not have a physical close micro center/best buy, can track when cards drop or willing to overpay craigs list then prebuilt is how you get a video card

so the "i can probably build it cheaper" thought doesn't apply right now w/ shortages and scum buying

3070 Tis have dipped to $700-800 range in the last week, even some EVGA models. Prebuilt companies still love to overcharge for 12th gen and RGB on top. For a $2000+ system I'd want at least a 3080 card (+25% performance)

The sword was hard to print, I should have adjusted the settings, but it looks good enough

Check Craigslist for people dumping complete systems minus GPU, then snag a GPU when they come back

Edit: for the quote you were quoting.

With how prices are and availability you can buy and build really. A lot of shit on Newegg and Amazon has been in stock daily. I think microcenter may even be shipping some cards now.
I checked and while they aren’t they are in stock in stores.

The Office of the US Trade Representative (USTR) today granted 352 exclusions to the Trump-era tariffs, which had imposed a 25% duty on many electronics components manufactured in China.

The exclusions include “graphics processing modules” and “printed circuit assemblies, constituting unfinished logic board,” which cover PC graphics cards and motherboards. Additional exclusions were granted for PC desktop cases and trackpad units valued at over $100, but not for power supplies exceeding 500 watts.

The exclusions will last until Dec. 31, 2022. They're also retroactive and apply to qualifying imports dating back on Oct. 12, 2021.
Tariffs removed until the end of the year on the more important hardware.

Prob gonna get all that shit in Micro Center instead of Amazon. Ill get $20 off the Mo-Bo and the Proc is still cheaper at like $350.

BTW current setup is still crashing like every hour now in Destiny 2. Like I said I would not even bother with the shit if it was not for the crashes. It was crashing before in other games, but lately Destiy is breaking it, lol.

Ive tried all kinds of shti too. Ither than replace components. And nothing works. BRRRRAP sound, black screen and reboot.

Mist is right. And even if it's only to be able to see if it's the GPU or something else when the screen stays black.
