All fans SHOULD be on. You can check the fan curves and shit in BIOS though. Not sure which vendor you have, but on my gigabyte board it's something called smart fan.

They are all definitely plugged into their fan pins on the mobo. I’ll check out your link. Thanks.

Got the MSI bios system up. Looking like I’ll have to swap around plugs and see what happens.

Starting to get a minor itch to get a new PC. Did nvidia ever stop shitting the bed and having the 50x0 cards bursting into flame? Is Intel or AMD better these days?

All individual connections.

New issue: fired up a game in Steam and its running at 2-4 frames per second. What in the fuck?? Everything else about this new computer is faster, obviously. But under load it runs like a fucking potato.

This is the only thing I can find not plugged in but I don’t see a port for it to go to.

Just looks like a SATA connector so whatever unless you have a drive not connected. Lets see a shot of the whole MB

open the case and look at it, are the fans connected to the headers or the lianli controller, either way the controller should also connect back to the mb for sensing and you should always hear all fans turnt up to 100% on first boot

i mean your aio is 4 frickin fans alone, and the arctic fans aren't the quietest

Kinda blurry but that looks like a male connector, it should be plugged into a female sata connector coming from the PSU. Bet it's a power feeed for the fan hub or something

if youre using the flux controller board you have to plug that into a sata to power the fans

Dude, they are nearly silent.

What IS a little disappointing after all the hype; the little LCD display on the side isn't active. I'm working on that troubleshoot.

nVidia cards still perform better in most 4k and ray tracing applications, but AMD is highly competitive in the "mid-range" market. Plus, they're usually a lot cheaper.

For super budget, I think Intel is starting to make up some ground there.

you have a msi board? i think if you load up msi control center, it's not compatible w/ the lcd it looks like

Bit of a bummer, but the MOBO has a temp display as well and I can see that through the glass. If I really need data, I have the MSI control center on the desktop that monitors everything.

All case fans are active now. I had missed something coming off the front panel that needed to be hooked up direct into the power supply.

The little side display isn't lit up, however. The website for the case says I need to download some file, which I haven't tried yet.

Everything else is working though, really well. Dead silent fans. Core temps between 38-43 degrees C just using the internet. Under load they are well below 60 degrees C. Only thing left to do is buy a new sound system.

Appreciate everyone's help on this build, from picking hardware to getting it all up and running.

for the aio are you using the all in 1 cable or separate fan/pump
