Cases are more of an aesthetic thing for me than any benchmark. If I like the look of it , I use it. The one I have now, may not be for everyone but when I first saw it I thought it was beautiful.
Hell one day me & the wife were walking around Fry's (when they used to still be a thing) and I saw an all glass Corsair case and said, 'wow that is neat' and my wife told me to get it and get it right now. I never say wow about anything and she wanted me to have it (wife's a keeper gang and you cannot have her).

Now INTHEMIDSTOFLIONS INTHEMIDSTOFLIONS , since you are going with an AIO for your CPU anyhow, bro spend the $$ and get an X3D CPU. You will NOT regret it.

actually INTHEMIDSTOFLIONS INTHEMIDSTOFLIONS that id cooling aio water cooler was only recommended b/c you had such a tiny case, now that youre thinking of a regular mid sized case, you can get a 360 aio cooler instead

I know y’all recommended the x3d series but I’m also a little worried it’s about my budget.

9800x3d is $450. Definitely outside my budget.

I’m getting the sapphire nitro + 9070 XT 16 GB for $550 bc Amazon fucked up my order in June, and they’re giving me a discounted price. (Confirmed it this week they’re still going to honor that price)

when I looked up on videos the difference between the 7800x3d (was $320 on amazon today but sold out later in the day) vs the 9600x ($180), there wasn’t that big of a difference in 1440p games.

is there going to be a pretty sizable difference between 9600x and the 7800x3d? Tbh, if I’m going to regret and wish I had upgraded to the 3D, I might as well spend the extra $150 for a 7800x3d during the Black Friday sales. But not sure if it’s something that’s going to make a real difference.

I’m playing on a potato right now so any upgrade is a good one lol. I’m currently running 800p at 40-50 fps on low settings (with performance upscaling).
