you really should return the TV 4k is kinda junk right now since HDMI 2.0 isn't out, and HDMI 1.4 only allows 30 hz at 4k. so even if you manage to get a 4k input source you'd be at 30 hz. 4k over wifi (internet video streaming) is a joke, can't even really do true 1080p over wifi no chance at 4k so places like netflix/amazon/youtube are just sending junk video streams at 4k. You can do 4k over displayport but almost none of the 4k TVs actually have a displayport input and the only thing outputting DP is apple or high end PC video cards.

you'll be much happier with a really, really good 1080p TV and in 2-3 years upgrade to a good, curved, OLED 4k TV when there are 4k output devices and more x265 internet video sources.

Mother fuckers. So I'm a dumb ass and forgot to put a password on purchases on my PS4, through the PS Store. So my son bought GTA V this time. Contact Sony live chat, like before, and am told that all sales are final, and I have to get it reviewed by their Network Team.

The kicker? After being told I would get a refund for my Destiny pre-order, they check the status, and tell me that it's still being reviewed. That their department can not approve refunds. They don't seem to care what their rep told me.

Fucking Sony. Pieces of worthless shit.

Edit: The only thing this person can do is report the agent, with a copy of the chat log.

Did you put it on game mode? Most TVs have a mode that turns off all the post-processing and reduces input lag.

Anyway, it is taking all my spiritual fortitude to not run out and buy a Destiny PS4 bundle right now.

Nah, the 2014 models (I think) all have HDMI 2.0. The Samsung HU9000 I bought has 4 of them, but you're right about the lack of content. It came with a drive w/ a handful of 4k movies that look incredible - and over hard wired net I was watching Breaking Bad UHD no problem.

The problem for me more so than content is the gaming - looks better in gaming mode but is still noticeably worse than my old Sony LED (and even Panny plasma). Guess it'll be a move/tv watching set heh.

(to be honest, not getting a refund on Destiny probably isn't a bad thing, but to not get it on $60 GTAV when it's commonly $20 or less, that is just infuriating me beyond words!)

As we get closer and closer to launch, I'm more and more tempted by the PS4 version. Wife isn't ok with me buying a PS4 console since we have baby expenses, so anyone want to buy my EQ test server accounts to fund my PS4 purchase? I'll let them go relatively cheap.

yes thats all the ones I have too

for anyone who is lazy here is a script you can paste that auto types all the keys for you

1. go toBungie : Code Redemptionand login
2. in Chrome press Control + Shift + J to bring up the script code window
3. paste the following into it

4. press enter, and it will add every code to your account (dups will pop up an error).

5. close the little coding window, go to profile / Codes to verify you have 25 codes (+ beta if you were in it).

Hasn't changed. It sucks but it is what it is. Definitely stinks they didn't announce it sooner but crying about it won't change anything. That said... afk crying.

Can't decide which class to go still... was always set on hunter, but I don't really wanna be a melee specialist as I like to defend in pvp. Wonder if the regular golden gun spec will still be viable or if I should just switch to something else. Do all classes have the same dmg with weapons in pvp?

Not applicable for us, we're both "Sean-mode" (well, not completely but in the important criteria there) - I had forgotten about that though, wasn't relevant for where I did most of my HR years - was at my first but that was like 2 years almost two decades ago.

Ugh...Servers open at like 4am Monday and Amazon still hasn't begun processing. I usually like having a distribution warehouse a few miles away because things get to me much faster than estimated (usually next day). But now that I have pre-ordered 2 games from them, it seems like they do not bother shipping them to me till the street date. So sadly no early shipment for me and the likelihood of being able to play before 8pm on release date is highly unlikely.
