I did the treasure cave at 18, before it got nerfed, so I am wearing full blue gear (minus helm), and have blue weapons in all 3 slots. I'm still 20, just a hair short of 21. I guess I'll try some PVP.

Fully upgraded L20 rare armor takes you to light level 24. L18's cap out at like 10 light each so that's still enough to easily hit light level 22. Weapons have no effect on level.
L21 = 20 light
L22 = 32 light
etc.
You did wait until 20 to decode the engrams you got from the loot cave, right?

Better interface than loading the websites in Dolphin/Chrome/whatever, no ads, no unnecessary permissions. Wish it had an option to keep the screen on though.

Hit 20. I enjoy PvP but I think I'll be playing other games until DLC. That was literally the worst ending to a maim story that I've ever seen. Even killzone was better.

Only loot I've gotten that I actively use from raids is the sniper rifle and chest I have equipped. Only using the chest because of light level and the fact that Xur had a hunter helm for sale this week that was actually worth using. I also have the void dmg AR (Atheon's Epilogue) in inventory for situational use.

Once a week. Every single person I have run with has gotten loot from both nightfall and the raid.
Its getting beyond frustrating and bordering on a complete waste of my time.

Just be more efficient with your time, don't play Bungies RNG game.
It's 15 min to run a nightfall max.. Hell I solo them faster then that.
It's 45 min max to run a raid.
It takes max 10 hours to go from 1-20.
So 2 days of leveling you made 2 titan alts, then you run 3 nightfalls = 45 min
3 raids = under 3 hours.
once a week, for a grand total of under 4 hours played time.
You are looking at 2 weeks to get geared out even with god awful rng.
Well, that is their current loot system. Really nothing you can do about it, but form strats to give you better odds.
Even with traveling you could easily accomplish what I just outlined over one weekend if you play a good bit.
But I understand that it is frustrating, and I'm sure it will change in the future. For now need to play the game against Bungie if you want to be geared out as quickly as possible.

Do the other Factions have capped rep at rank 3+? Vanguard has stayed at 2500 rep per rank from 3+ (up to rank 7 now).
Public Events are really disappointing, basically do one per day after you have reached the 100 Mark cap. You don't even get rep from doing them.
Edit: If anyone on xbone ever wants to farm rep on Earth, let me know. It goes pretty quick with 1-2 others.

So I finished the game. For some fucken reason I didn't even get the end cut scene or the blue weapon your supposed to get. So a terrible ending just got even more terrible for me.
I also have lost a bit of motivation since the story is done. I mean gear up but for what one raid? At least in normal raiding games there was a progression of raids that you raided and 'leveled' through. It really fucken pisses me off they have chopped this game up so much to make as much profit as possible. Seriously when you objectively look at it there is barely ANY content. It didn't even launch with the raid. It's just extremely frustrating becuase I really enjoy the game but I feel like they have missed a HUGE oppurtunity by letting Activision cut their game up for profits. I'll continue to play because I enjoy it but I dunno it's bittersweet.

Yes I decoded all 6 blue engrams I had when I was 20. I have blue everything but helm and I am still level 20. I believe my armor is all upgraded already, but I'll look and see.
