I like pulse rifles, have bad juju and a pretty pimp legendary as well as suros. With how easy it is to acquire coins (9 per character = 27 a week), I figure it can't really hurt.

Pulse rifles are still the worst of the four primaries, and you've already got the best primary (pre-Mythoclast anyway). I'm spending my coins on a sparrow mod this week rather than wasting them on a gun I'd never use.

Anyway, what a shitty Xur week. Going to end up gambling on a helm again (last three gave me Apotheosis Veil, Saint-14, and Symbiote) and when he once again doesn't give me a Light Beyond Nemesis, I guess I have no choice but to settle for Sunbreakers.
Edit: Cancel that, the Cryptard actually gave me a Nemesis helm finally. Definitely getting that sparrow mod, as I now have absolutely nothing to spend 71 coins on this week.

The hp regen thing on the pulse rifle is a cool perk but in no way a game changer. It just starts your regen process and stops as normal if you get hit. I bought the pulse rifle anyways along with a exotic engram that was a hunter helm. I was hoping for Suros to be up there again but it was just to have it and save it. I'm a scout rifle kind of guy anyways.

do a public event every day on 3 characters and you end up with a lot of coins and motes, i'm up to like 60 of each and I bought suros and an engram last week and two items the week before too. i don't even run 28 strike every week on 3 chars, I could for an extra 18 coins but at this point the only thing I'd be buying is sparrow mods since i have ice breaker, suros, and 4 exotic bounty weps
i'll still buy red death though, i have a feeling they are going to buff/nerf guns soon so who knows what'll be good and bad

My main issue with Suros is the "last half deals bonus damage" is not really during half the clip. It is like the last 6 (out of 33 total) shots overall that deals the bonus damage from what I've read.

I considered buying it for that reason, but I don't see them buffing it to the level of raid legendaries, and why use an exotic primary when you can use a Vision of Confluence (or whichever one you prefer) unless it's a Mythoclast? The only way exotic primaries could ever compete with the raid guns is for an element to be added, and again I really don't see that happening.
I've been upgrading my Hard Light just to compare the two. Hard Light looks better, sounds better, and is more fun to use. I really wish the damage was competitive but the difference in stability between the two guns ensures that's never going to happen.
Yeah, it ramps up very slowly and doesn't even start at all until there's only 13 left. Last five shots are like +10%, +20%, +40%, +60%, +75%. I hate not reloading my gun so I almost never get any benefit at all from it except when I'm firing off full magazines all at once. The health regen is equally negligible as well.

No idea, seems shitty. Never really leveled it up. Might be better if it was more stable, and had autofire like the Stranger rifle they give you from the story boss.

How the fuck do you have 21 of 22? I play far too much and have yet to get an exotic out in the wild. Only from bounties and Xur. I have Suros, Thorn, Invective, Pocket Infinity, Super Good Advice, and Bad Juju only.
You suck I need gloves and boots from raid. But don't worry, I have two chests! One of which is STR other is INT. Leveling the newer one (INT) now to possibly replace if I ever get an over abundance of shards.
