3 HM Aetheon kills and ended up with 3 speeders, 2 Visions of Confluence, 1 Mythocast, and 1 Helm. However like 12 normal runs and ive only got 1 sniper 1 Rocket , gloves, and bp.....that and like 7 chatterwhites and useless spaceships.
Basically HM Aetheon alone has dropped more loot in 3 kills than all my full runs in that shitfest RNG normal mode.

lol i'm a warlock and i have a save at atheon, trying it now
edit: worked after about an hour of tries, like 15 times he stood right on the edge and just hovered. i'm sure they are gonna hotfix it tomorrow, but if you wanna try go to orbit when you fail to reset the grenade cooldowns. for sunslinger, you just need solar nades and the talent that gives you 2 grenades, probably the dawn gauntlets that extend the timer are good too. i got a solar vision of confluence, was hoping for something that does void dmg

Almost feels like I robbed the raid last night...
Got 1 pair of boots, Vision of Confluence, Red Death, The Exploding Sniper Rifle, and the Confession heavy machine gun (my second one). Was good to not get all shards

Fucking hell, that's a good Vault run.
They could really help themselves a lot with players by just removing shards from the loot table. Every duplicate and incorrect class drop is effectively 2 shards. Just give people items and if they want shards, let them deconstruct them on their own. No reason to disappoint people by giving them lame shit.

Managed to get into a pickup group to go through the normal mode VOG raid yesterday. It was my first time doing VOG and I thought it was pretty fun. We went through from start to finish without much trouble, but did take awhile to down Atheon.
I managed to score an Atheon's Epilogue... I was really tearing up the Supplicants with my Ice Breaker, but I guess I wouldn't mind being on Oracle duty either. Happy to have an elemental primary now, even if it is very similar to the Doctor Nope I purchased just last week to finally get a legendary primary.
How many of us on here are doing hard mode currently? Would it be brutal at 28?
@Heylel: I was pretty disappointed with Doctor Nope at first, but once I unlocked the Perfect Balance perk I was much happier with it.

That's what I'm waiting on. Right now I'm having to level up Doctor Nope and Gjallarhorn both, and they're each sorta lame until you get all the perks. Gjallarhorn does hit like a mack truck though.

And Dr. Nope hits like a fully automatic BB gun. I'm sure it's fine for PVP but it's a terrible weapon for PVE. I have (well, had... Hex Caster Arc is so terrible that I broke it down for energy after filling its xp bar) three different high ROF/no-impact ARs and they all suck compared to Suros Regime/Shadow Price/Vanquisher. If you really love high ROF guns, pray for a Hard Light drop or for Xur to stock it. Or for an Atheon's Epilogue; at least it has void damage and near-perfect stability to make up for the lack of impact.

i solo'd atheon hard today morning on my lock, saved the checkpoint with a few people before i did it if anyone wants to try. i think i have it on my titan alt too but he never did the normal raid so i can't select anything other than normal raid. didn't get any loot except ship, but it was fun to say i cleared the raid
its actually easier solo'ing than trying to push him off with more people, since he randomly shoots at a people which makes it hard to get him to move to the edge if there is more than 1 person alive.
