Pretty sure its all internal stuff they were doing to the servers/etc. There shouldn't be any fixes or nerfs.

Aye....they said that nobodies gameplay experience would be different after the patch . But with Bungie you never know.

I managed to cram in everything weekly/daily except for one VOG, which I'll save to do if/when WoW explodes. And I finally have one raid armor (gloves) so my XP is actually going somewhere again. One annoyance - the "do I spend energy on this weapon?" game. There are so many situational weapons due to the 1 exotic limit and damage types, plus obvious BIS (spend energy on Truth when pwnhorn exists? Fuck that) But I do have like 55 energy piled up.
It was a painful VOG pug this time... 2 1/2 hours, people disconnecting a lot, people giving their controller to their six year old and not telling anyone, and someone's mic picking up one side of a telephone conversation between Shanaquita and her gurrlfriend for a fucking hour.
Which reminds me - does the mic sensitivity tweaks in party chat only apply to party chat? Because there's no such tool in-game. What always happens is, one guy in party chat has Nat 3 and can't talk, so we go to Fireteam chat. But in fireteam chat, I can only ever hear the leader talking (which at least cut off Shana'daquita) I guess just having one person with NAT 3 can fuck up the whole group.
I've also concluded that the ideal group size for weekly heroic is 1 and nightfall is 2.

Nightfall is ideal for 1 as well if you are a warlock. Makes you have to mess up twice in a relatively short span
Still more fun to do with a group though, if for nothing else than to have someone to bitch to when you get coins or an engram that turns into mats

Damn, almost got my first nightfall but died with the priest at about 20%
Was hiding under the platform when a shank got a good angle on me and killed me. So frustrating. This is on PS3 otherwise I'd run stuff with you guys.

No Gjallarhorn for me this week. Of course Xur is selling the only exotic weapon I have that I didn't see everyone else running around with. Guess I won't be winning any PVP matches afterall. The Last Word is a fun hand cannon so if you don't already have it I recommend getting it if you have the coins to spare. Full auto hand cannon is fun.

I think I'm going to pass on The Last Word. It sounds good in PVP but im not a big PVPer so it's easy to pass on. Besides I already have Thorn and The Chance so I don't really need another hand cannon. I'll probably pick up the warlock chest though. It's more a void walker item but I've got the coins to spare and it will give me options.

The Last Word is a full auto hand cannon. The others you mentioned are not as far as I know. Probably not a must have item, but if you have coins piling up in the bank its a fun item. The animations for the gun are fun and unique, makes me feel like a cowboy while I am shooting it.

Thorn isn't as bad in PVP as many make it out to be. Can't tell you how many DOT kills I get w/ it.

Yet still considerably worse than TDYK or Fatebringer. I got a Last Word from my first raid ages ago, and was extremely disappointed at how bad it was in PVE once fully upgraded.

Scout rifles are better than hand cannons in 95% of situations anyways. Pretty much the only advantage is when something is close enough to be firing from the hip
